Deberías informarte un poco mejor. España hace 30 no era ningún ´shithole´ como tú dices.

I think the right that most people protested over the loss thereof was the right to own slaves. Santa Anna outlawed slavery and the slaveowners rebelled, so he fought them. When he extended this law to Texas the Texan slaveowners, ex-Americans and Hispanic, fought him.

Why do you say the election of a Democrat will repeal NAFTA?
A Democrat came up with the bright idea. |
Did you listen to the debate the other day. Dean basically called for tearing up current agreements, including the WTO. He said that he would refuse to trade with any country that did not have the same labor, safety and environmental standards as the US. Others questioned whether we would be so drastic, but did second the idea that we should "revise" the agreements to condition trade on "equivalent" labor, safety and environmental standards.
What does this all mean? If Mexico does not have a minimum wage the same as the US, NAFTA is over? If Mexican drivers aren't paid he same as US union teamsters, they cannot drive loads into the United States?
I somehow think these people cannot be serious, but you have heard much the same hear on this forum from the likes of Che and the others from the anti-globalist movement. It appears that Dean and many of the other Democrats have joined the anti-globalist movement.
Liebermann is highly critical of the other candidates, but he is trailing in the polls. I do not know where Clark stands.
Regardless, if Dean is nominated, this undoubtedly will be a major issue in the campaign. If he wins, Mexico and other trading partners now enjoying free trade can kiss prosperity good bye.
