An AEU colony has been established on the moon. The initial habitation facilities have been built and construction is ongoing. Charters have been issued to all sorts of industries and institutions to begin development. Territorial borders of 100 km radius around the base as well as planned sites have been staked out. Once the population is sufficient, expected to be within 2 to 4 years, the colony will be brought into the AEU as a full component state, with representation and the benefits and responsibilities involved. With this declaration to the world the Repubblic of India have declared war against Pakistan, it is still unclear wheter it was the Pakistani government behind the attack against Indian civilian near the Pakistani-Indian border.

The Indian high commando have started bombing raids against the Pakistani cities of Bahawalpur and Faisalabad, and especially against Pakistani military fortifications all along the border. The Indian quickly gained air superiority and managed to shot down several Pakistani fighters which toom off in the desperate attempt of putting an end to the bombings.

The Russians went on the attacked, bombing raids over the Pakistani capital: Islamabad were conducted by the Russian Air General Suruvov, which later landed in India for re-supply.

Alone and attacked by two of the biggest powers on Earth, it is not believed that Pakistan may resist for too long.

Isadore changes direction
Hurricane Isadore changed direction and skipped the Chinese island of Taiwan, and it is now heading towards te Japanese islands of Okinawa. However experts have noticed that the power of Isadore seems to be quickly going down, therefore it is believed that the Hurricane will be nothing but a light breath of air before it may reach the Japanese coasts.

The AEU have recently managed to place a colony on the moon, the brave pioneers took off from the AEU space bases in Australia, and reached in short time the satellite.

We question the stated goals of this proposed alliance. "Breaking a rule" is not sufficient cause to attack a member of the alliance, only an atrocity or clear and imminent threat. We agree regarding the open trade, but are curious as to how you will integrate that with your planned economy. We should not be trying to defeat countries merely because they do not belong to the alliance. While some of these things, under certain circumstances, could be advantageous, our people simply would not stand for them. We hope we can reach a compromise on policy.
