There are several cities building improvements that have already been built
The ship chain to the Persians is not in bad shape, and the road to the Sioux will be completed quickly. I think we need to grow our cities and prepare for a fundy assault on our good neighbors.
1680
Rush some white goods, move some workers play with tax rate, and accidentally hit the enter key before moving the vans in to build SOL
1690
2 dye vans to Pasagadae, 168G & 308G
Move vans into central city and leave last 23 shields up to the city.
1700
Rail Road > Leadership, from Atomic theory, banking, and theology
HG is cancelled and disorder abounds in the nation. Adjust taxes for change.
Build SOL > Darwin
Sioux sneak attack Legion vs. road building engineer, he dies but completes the road first.
1710
Sidon Point founded along the boat chain to aid unhappiness caused when¡K
1720
REVOLUTION DEMOCRACY celebrate 6 cities at 60% Lux
Several more around central city could celebrate if there were any surplus food.
1730
DARWIN > Leadership >electricity f or refrigeration > Conscription for tactics
The other choices were atomic theory, and banking each time.
Persians want 200G - No - Cease fire - Peace.
Sioux are key civ but refuse to talk and attack fortified Musket with legion.
1740
Build and move
1750
Pop = 7,000,000 Celebrations stop and taxes are readjusted to 2.2.6 164G and 3 turns
Celts demand gunpowder, I refuse, they sign a cease fire.
Pop 2 huts for 50G each
1752
Sioux want cease fire > OK
Finish building some white goods and vans
1754
Build vans and Rush some white goods.
1756
CONSCRIPTION and choose REFRIGERATION, tactics not offered.
Celebration in 4 Monk
I end these turns feeling like I have accomplished......NOTHING
There is a good railroad in progress and several cities are getting irrigation on the grasses. I couldn't get the cities to grow so I used the celebrations to get engineers without dropping city size. Central city is working on the awful tower because I didn't know what else to do with it. The tech choices are also poor due to the banking and theology techs that keep popping up but other civs (Celts and Persians) have them and a couple dips can take care of that when ready to begin the war machine.
Looking forward to my trip to the institute

Spies! Destroyers! SOMEthing worthwhile!
And did I read correctly, that Raz delivered a caravan for 12 gold? Twelve!?!?!? Why bother? Surely it would have been better to save all the camels until they could turn into wonders or get to worthwhile delivery spots?
(I've been lurking here, waiting for an opportunity to jump in, but haven't had time yet.)

So the Institute is in Paris? I thought it was on St Helena or somewhere remote...

Dont think they have Espionage yet - they were working on Tactics. Diplomats might be useful, though, and the city is making 33s.
