I'd ask why you're a Republican in the first place?
Campaign Finance Reform? Bush signed that into law, although Democrats are now finding ways to flout it through sites like moven.org
Balanced budgets? Bush did go overboard, but he is recently putting forward a plan to slash the deficit. They recently did an analysis of Kerry's plans and his proposed expenditures overcost the amount of his propred tax increases by around $200 bil.
Kerry has also never been a proponent of balanced budgets and has opposed them many time throughout his career.
"And Kerry with a Republican Congress ensures nothing gets done = bliss. "
And what if he gets a Democratic Congress sometime during his presidency. Sure, it isn't likely to happen in 2004, but it could happen later in his career.
"I HATE that he totally stuck a middle finger to the world. I mean do you think France and Russia were interested in fighting Iraq in 1991? NO, of course not! But Bush, the elder, was a good diplomat. He got them to go along with it. "
So you are blaming America first and George W. Bush for France's obstinancy?
Colin Powell and his team did make every effort to reconcile them, but France would not budge. 1991 was a different situation, the war was easier to support as Iraq had invaded another country.
Check out Kerry's record if you need to Imran. He has for his entire career been on the far left and opposed nearly every traditional Republican value. Kerry opposed Reagan, and he opposed GHWB in Gulf War I. I don't see why anybody who calls themself a Republican of any flavor would be inclined to support Kerry.
