another thing worth noting. if u read the thread, u just realize just how much emphasis people put on these digital" relationships. facinating isnt it? we havent met each other (well unless if u went to a poly meet) but we feel like we know each other...

i think nobody knows what ticked him off yet.

The CounterGlow thing was another instance. SidGames did it once (with Apoc), and CG also did it once now.

The same thing would happen here, as with almost any forum that has people who actually care.

2) Poster cannot be contacted
3) Make contact with poster's relatives (parents in this case)

What is the correct sequence...? Should we have called 911 first, perhaps?

It's pretty easy if you know their name.

If you don't, it's a bit more difficult. You can use their IP, and date&time, and notify their ISP, who will (hopefully) cooperate.

1. I had said it was going to happen more than a day later so just because you couldn't contact me during certain hours you knew I could be contacts...
2. It was more of a "hey, what's a quick way to kill myself if I don't have to the balls to do it the freaky eloborate way I've planned now" than a real suicide thread.
3. My parents were the reason and the immediate thing that happened when they found out was me getting yelled at for hours about how bad it'd make them look if I killed myself. And guess what, if I hadn't been pretty tired I would have carried it out later that night after they were called. And guess what, if my mind hadn't got ****ed up when I was asleep, I probably would have done it the next day.
4. A much more effective solution would have been telling me why I shouldn't kill myself in terms of what I have to live for as opposed to what I accomplished in the past and could no longer do.

Well that's ****ed up. I think your parents should've shown a bit more concern for your well-being, assuming that's what really happened. You can look forward to living away from them on your own if that's how they feel.

That would go along with it, yes, but in the meantime having someone who is in your RL to talk to you is 99/100 much better than some guy telling you the same over a computer screen.

Yeah, but part of the thing is that most of my RL friends were pissed at me because they thought I didn't want to hang out with them and quit the wrestling team, not that my parents were grounding me from everything.

Well, there were some elaborate thins with it, like killing the dog and things like that...and I had been up for many, many hours straight...I needed to be somewhat coherant.
