Ooh! I'll answer this one.
1. Didn't seem too tough when Spikey was playing, but he is a master of course. The emphasis is on fun ( ), not on making an exceptionally tough game, although if you want that then you can wander about in areas where you're just not ready for the monsters in terms of levels.
2. Yes, but I admit to having no idea what the numbers on-line are like in Australian time. It's always more fun with more people.
3. I'm not too sure about that either. I'd guess that the magic is the same as the ordinary game (well, with epic spells, etc) because Spikey's playing with a fighter and I didn't get a chance to see. The potions are pretty much as was, but I'm sure that with minds as inventive (and lunatic) as Jam's behind it, then there will always be a few brand-new combinations in potions.
4. For all other kinds of loot, see potions above. The loot is there, and the items to be er, invested in, are there too, but it's not just handed about willy-nilly. From what I saw, they have cut down on the "Oh look, a barrel in the middle of a forest track! And it has got 23 gold in it. Who'der thunk it?" from the original games, so you have to work for your loot. Er, mainly by killing stuff.
Pop down and try it! Oh, but download the latest patch first.
