This round was every bit as violent at the last, with no less than three Overlords issuing attack orders; however, the success rate was somewhat lower.

First, Overlord Kassiopeia, following a massive building effort, launched his entire fleet towards the territory of Overlord Boshko.

Kassiopeia is defeated and forced to withdraw.

In spite of a perfectly planned opening strike, Kassiopeia’s forces were hamstrung by the lack of appropriate weapon systems, with Boshko’s loose formation greatly reducing the effectiveness of torpedoes, and the lack of any point-defense systems leaving his forces helpless before the enemy counter-attack. This was then compounded by adjusted enemy tactics, which absolutely massacred Kassi’s forces.

The tribulations of Kassiopeia were not over yet, however. His battered forces had barely left Boshko’s space when they received word that forces belonging to Over Kuciwalker had occupied all four of Kassiopeia’s planets. With no base to retreat to, Kassiopeia’s fleet was left floating in the void, facing swift death by starvation or asphyxiation unless they could find a new base.

Meanwhile, Over Jamski, seeking to continue his successful conquests, had also sent forces towards Kassiopeia’s bases; however, upon being confronted by ships belonging to Kuciwalker, Jamski had no choice but to return home.

All other Overlords stayed at home and built (with the exception of Chaunk, who remained in a stupor after reportedly drinking the entire year’s whiskey production for his territories, and Ljube, who seems to have joined him…), many observers commented on the unusually high energy emissions coming from their territories…

Damn and blast. I try to attack, and what happens, I end up nomadic with a crippled fleet. Mind, if I had stayed home the bases would be in Jamski's hands, I suppose.

btw, to rectify the confusion apparently suffered by Jamski: the numbers in brackets represent the number of hits taken by the damaged ship, not the number of damaged ships you have. Because of the way combat works, it's very difficult to get two damaged ships in the same category.
