No. If it's a general principle, that you're going to post in every faction, go ahead, but helping teams with their strategy, either with suggestions or pointing out mistakes, is not a good idea. It's the teams playing, and whatever we say will be affected by our knowledge of other forums. Moreover, even if it wasn't, we're not a member of that team, and so helping them is biasing the game. |
We are all here to learn though. So if it is not team specific, rather it is general game related, as long as Kody will post the same thing in all the teams, I wouldn't say it is not a good thing for people who are here to learn.
[Edit] I'm considering this post a non spaming post. If I was wrong please let me know and I will edit it out.

Northwestish looks fine to me, then. I propose we move pod #2 on top of the scout, and next turn move both north. In the coming turns, we should rush the former as soon as possible and start on a solar panel to get a 2-1-2 tile. Once the former is built, we can build a scout patrol to check out the east or serve as police, or we can start on a CP immediately (though we will need a doctor for at least a few turns in that case).
Though we don't really need to decide this until next turn, which tech is best, according to the beelines? Getting PlaNets too early isn't much of a help, unless we pop an energy credit pod, but getting IndEcon is of no direct benefit. Based on GAIA, we shouldn't have any next-door neighbors, so we can afford to skimp on defense for the time being. Based on that, I'd be inclined towards InfoNet as the first tech.

Unfortunately when I get stuck into the roleplay I might not be able to keep detailed logs of game specifics. Currently keeping a general journal.
Whenever I say big mistake most other people consider it a small mistake anyway. I call it an disaster when other people call it a big mistake. So no need to get stressed out. Also you guys picked it up what I was thinking of afterwards.

Restart due to a minor error in the game setup.
I'm advising Drogue to do the following so you guys don't have to replay.
*plant one base (because we don't want the mindworm as that would be different)
*build former, stockpile energy
*move scout west
*move 2nd colony pod west
*press endturn

I have to say that nobody had raised any opposition when Chaos Theroy asked for confirmation.
[Edit] I thought I was contributing something so I do not think this is spam. Let me know if I was wrong.
