Mr. Fun and Theban, I am sure you have heard of Dick Cheney, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rudy Giuliani. These men are Republican leaders who clearly are not anti-gay. I am not either if you have followed my posts over time.

About meeting Democrat gays half way so we can work together, I for one would like to hear your ideas on what we Republicans can do.

Schwarzenegger and Giuliani have no chance for further political advancement however. Hell, neither does Cheney. The party would never accept candidates who are pro-choice (like Schwarzenegger and Giuiliani), so I'd hesitate to call them Republican leaders. The actual leaders, like Raciccot and Balbour and Hastert aren't similar in temperment.

I don't know about that. Being Arnold ****ing Schwarzenegger gives you a pretty big leg up on your opponents.

Yeah, and? You also need 3/4ths of the states to sign off and that may take 5 years it may take longer. And I think the Senate will kibbosh it anyway and say we aren't changing the Constitution so one man can run for President.
