I noticed that too. He posted that right as he fumbled the ball again.

Martz = pathetic. The two defensive TDs made it look worse that it was, but the Rams were not a team primed for victory.

The Pack seems to be back. Proof will come next week vs Philly.

Looking at the standings, the NFC is really turning into a joke. There are only 5 teams over .500. That means that one of the teams that's currently 5-6 (or worse!) will make the playoffs.

The candidates: NY Giants, St Louis. And since the Giants are tanking with Eli, the Rams will probably get in.

Teams that are 4-7 are currently only one game out of the wild card.
That group includes some truly poor teams:
Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, and Arizona.

"Parity" = mediocrity. The NFC is just so sad...

Yeah... the NFC is pretty lame overall. While there are a few good teams, the wildcard teams are likely to be "real bad" teams. On the other hand, the AFC wildcard teams will be dangerous.

St. Louis fumbles way too much. Once you get a reputation for putting the ball on the ground, it gives every team you play more impetus to hit hard and try and strip the ball on tackles. It kind of builds on itself.

It was cold, and every team tries to force fumbles these days. It doesn't matter if you have fumbled in the recent past or not. They're still going to try and force a fumble. Anyway, I still think that last fumble by Bruce should have been overturned because of the face mask. I don't know what the rule is, but it seems like you shouldn't be able to force a fumble by fouling.

If fumbling was due to the cold, we should have seen a similar number of fumbles by Green Bay. As for the face mask, the officials did not see it and did not call it. Therefore, it would have no bearing on any fumble. If they had called it, St. Louis would have kept possession.

That is correct... a penality would have nulified the play.

As far as fumbles go, Bulger is prone to fumble when sacked hard (granted, so are many QB's), but with his history, I would blitz with everybody often. In games where the defense has done that, they get burned some, but mostly end up with turnovers.

He holds on to the ball to long, and doesn't have as much presence, but he's getting better. This is still his first year really.

Say what?! Last year he started 15 games and in 2002, he started in 5. Saying it's his first year really is nonsense. I guess that means I can say this is Mike Vick's first year really and man he's doing great .

Kid is obviously a fan who will spin things to put the best light on what was once a championship team that is now mediocre. Calling Bulger a rookie would be like me calling Roethlisberger a.....oh, wait, he really is a rookie.

But this is the first year that he started as the started. The other years he was just a back up.

I like Bulger a lot. There's just something about him. He's very likable. I wish him well. Of course he's a Ram so that has something to do with it to.

I used to think Warner was a good person too. Doesn't mean I think he's still a good quarterback.

Bulger is very accurate, even under pressure. He's great with the timing routes that the Rams like to run. He's smart too, and he can look at more than one reciever on the play.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Bulger does go through his check downs well... as proven last night when he was hitting his fourth target.
And I don't know how you could consider him a backup last year... he may have started the year that way because the team owed Warner one more shot, but it didn't take long for him to be annointed the starter.
