Kohn Luttinger mechanism is the appearance of a superconductor (or superfluid) due to pairing of fermions which arises from some form of long range attractive coupling for high l-states.

That's a ridiculous statement. The math is the understanding. Everything else is handwaving.

Got spare money?

yah, I want the relevant equation basically

I can (sorta) remember the graphs and arguments (there is this term which causes it always to be the proper sign...)

but need to look at it in more detail

and I can't find my notes... (I think that I will go ask someone else tomorrow, most likely)

False analogy. I'm in favour of legislating who can own what newspaper. Does this mean that I must be in favour of legislating which newspapers have to hire what writers?

It's much better on toasted rye with caraway seeds.

Yup, mustard is definitely a must. Swiss cheese? That's just weird.

Never liked dill pickles, but then I'm from Toronto.

For other Canadian food:

Anything with Maple Syrup.

Tourtiere (traditional Quebec pork pie. Very, very good. Excellent comfort food for winter)

Perogies is a staple food on the prairies.

In BC, the White Spot burger.

Canadian chocolate bars:
Neilson's Jersey Milk, Malted Milk and Sweet Marie
Cadbury's Crispy Crunch

Canadian Chocolate:
In Ontario: Laura Secords
In BC: Purdy's and Rogers.

In short, who are the owners of the political process?

If you say anything other than Canadians at large, you fail.

It's a possible improvement at the expense of free speech and free association. Do I think that banning any political discussion involving the mention of a privatisation of health care would lead to better government? Probably. Do I favour such a ban? No.

You think that banishing Parrish and making sure she will lose the next election, no matter what else happens, is good for free speech?

What a curious definition of freedom you have.

Nobody forced anybody to join the Liberals or to vote for them. The candidacy process is striaghtforward. Spending limits give indpendents with proper motivation the ability to advertise on the same level as their competition. Voting for a national party with a centralised nomination process is a choice that Canadians make. The leader is given exactly as much power as his caucus gives him. This caucus is selected by Canadians. Period.
