Opps, I was looking at figures comparing a F/B/RDD to a P/B/RDD. Because the Fighter doesn't need to split his stats into wisdom he can invest more in INT so along with the fighters 50% more skill points he's also getting int modifers at each level. He'll end up with a large number of extra skill points in the end.

Vlad they are all exellent, and very in keeping with the feeling of Folderol. Just the names and powers of these weapons are enough for me to be able to make nice backstories for them.

Perhaps you'd not object to the Sunsword casting Sunburst once per day too?

Re sunburst: No problem.

Actually, a few other potential modifications one could make to the Sunsword:
Immunity to fear or increased saving throw against fear
-(large number) to Hide and Spot (a sword like THAT would make it really easy to spot you, and it'd also drown out a lot of other things, making it more difficult for you to spot them. Or something.)

Jamski, I discovered during testing something you might find interesting or distressing or both.

Quiz, what is the difference between these two weapons?

a) Longsword +2 enh +2 slashing
b) Longsword +2 enh +2 piercing

Answer

Weapon a) does 1d8+2 damage
Weapon b) does 1d8+4 damage

Reason - when the game adds the various damage bonuses, it seems if there is more than one of any kind (say 2 slashing), only the highest is used for weapon damage.

Since enhancement adds the weapon's primary damage type (slashing for longswords), having a property of +damage type the same as the weapon's primany damage type will either negate or be negated by the enhancement property.

I'm mentioning this due to the significant number of magical weapons on Folderol with +weapon damage mods the same as the weapon's primary damage type.

Just keep talking to them nicely from time to time. Don't wait for them to talk to you go and talk to them also make sure you finish all of there quests in the OC.

The bard is called Sharwyn by the way. Although she annoyed me.

I ran over all the golems at the start of SoU Chapter II, and now face a choice of where to go to be liched and winded to hell. What would anyone recommend for the first port of call? The Library, the Alchemists' Tower, or whatever the other one is?

Then I foolishly installed Morrowind, and had a little run around. It's fun, but we'll see how fun it becomes when I have to fight loads of creatures with the stupid mouse control.

Not really that much difference, but the crypt has an annoying memory leak bug that will cause you to have to reload incessantly. I'd do that last.

The zombie at the end guarding the wind is also quite mean.

nothing wrong with the mouse control. Just be glad you aren't using a controller

All the rules, PrCs and such are all available when playing the OC. Unfortunately, the advanced henchman control isn't.

But that's not a massive problem unless you can't carry any loot yourself. Having said that, in my game of SoU, both of us are wearing belts of Frost Giant strength so can loot to our hearts' content!
I think I'll go to the Alchemists' Tower first then, but I am going to be so badly |owned with my rubbishy character that it won't be funny. Well, not for me at least.
