Should we wait until AM signs? It's hard enough to get two civs to agree to things. I say we sign with AM then invite LB to the party.
By all means set up a deal for Feudalism and other techs.

I trust no one in this game anymore. Euphorica was going to let us hang out to dry after the DR war too. We need to become a paraniod closed society - for what ever time we have left.

My letter to 1889. I hope I hit the right note - given my earlier faux pas...

The entire BoH mess was bad enough. Krill of AM was actualy reviewing it and making comments. And the final draft was with them for signing after we had signed it. Krill also approached us regarding a tech arrangement - where they would provide 30 gold per turn in exchange for feudalism now, and our next tech researched. We received one payment. And they received feudalism. Which has now reached its way to BOH. That tech deal was signed and agreed to. There was considerable back and forth between Krill and Skro, and after our turn - the only thing we see is the Battle Report Message where they had taken our city. That was Friday night. No message - or declaration, or anything. A simple knife in the back.
We were suckered beautifully - I have not seen this level of lying and deception in a demo game before, and believe me - I should know - as we (Vox Controli) wrote the book about it back in the early days of the PTWDG.
So our team, already hurting from the failure of the first alliance, was really hurt by this. We were frustrated, pi$$ed, and very disappointed. It was so well orchestrated we figured you had to be in on it as well.
So I hope you understand where our team and I were coming from when I wrote what I did. Again - I apologize. I have always known you to be a straight-up individual, but we have been disappointed so often now and the game is still young.So, I hope that you can please excuse my inexcusable lack of diplomacy and trust. Babylon is now in no position to upset anyone else in the world.
We firmly believe BoH is coming for us. Paddy gave me a fairly detailed troop deployment earlier on - I can send that. We are also more that willing to provide feudalism to a friend and ally.
And last but not least - if you have any pull with DR, can you get them on-board to deal with BOH. We sent a very frank letter about a week ago after BOH's cease-fire, including an explanation, a cease-fire of our own, an apology, and a warning about BOH.

Babylon and AM were working on an MPP, before we were stabbed in the back. I envisioned The Org WMD Treaty was to be this world's NATO or UN. The Babylonian plan was to get AM to sign to it then invite other nations soon after the signing. I hoped that all would eventually join in. Feel free to take this document, and comment on it, or edit it as you see fit.
