I'm of the opinion that the whole game looks like ass. It's amazing to me the sysreqs required to run it.
Their art team is pretty bland overall, the color palettes are all dull and repetitive (look at the great environment in that screenshot, for examples). Something's wrong with the fonts. There's grammar annoyances "YOUR blah does 40 damage to a lame goul," when it should be "Your blah does 40 damage to A Lame Goul."
Someone ought to teach the EQ2 devs about proper nouns. |
I wouldn't normally pick apart grammer, but this is a special case. It should be "Your blah does 40 damage to a Lame Ghoul."
Someone should teach both you and the developers how to capitalize.

With WoW and with all MMORPG's is there something that makes me hate them after 1-2 months playing them: they are EXTREMELY repetive!
Once fighting a monster a certain way is fun but doing it 1000 times is boring. While you get sometimes something new when you level up remains the basic game play: you do repetive things in order to gain new things who you would have to use even more repetively before you gain new repetive things...
Al MMORPG's I have played are extremely repetive, even much more repetive then single player RPG's. So while WoW, EQ2, SWG,... where fun for a while started I to hate them after some time. After doing so many repetive things does even watching the game make me ill.

I get bored of most single player games within a matter of days. Even the "best" ones like Half-Life 2 and Civ3. |
In single players RPG's games do you have much faster leveling and a big main plot that changes that let single player RPG's feel less repetive then MMOPRG's. Most single player RPG are at least fun until I completed the plot and got very close the the max level, WoW got boring the moment I hit level 26(I don't care what is after that, the moment a game becomes too repetive/boring do I instantly stop playing). After playing many MMOPRG do I think that being repetive is a core part of all MMOPRG's.
Even diablo2 feeled less repetive(thought it actually was more repetive) but there is just something in MMOPRg's that let me experience them as repetive and hate them after I play them for some time. Everquest was even much worse in this respect then WoW. I don't understand how people can enjoy a MMOPRG for more then 2 months, I guess they have a different brain or something or they get addicted to those repetive aspects I hate.
