I am.
I think he was a fantastic footballer at Spurs and improved even more at Arsenal. His all round game is much better now.
He runs less, but he is in the right place more often, and doesn't have to run as much. He's still strong, quick and great in the air and defenders tend to get better with age, because the slight loss of speed is less important than being in the right place.
However, this season he's hardly played and Terry's been immense so with that in mind Terry should probably just get the edge... but if Campbell's fit I think he's still the better option at international level, aside from anything else he's one of the few experienced players in a very young squad. Possibly just for the next season though, soon we'll have Terry and Ferdinand and that could be an amazing partnership for a few tournaments.
That's coming from a Chelsea fan.

USA - Mexico will be on ESPN 2, and probably ESPN Deportes, and probably also Univision and Telemundo. we are playing at Azteca, where America has never beater mexico (0 - 21 - 1 all time) I picked USA to win tho. hahahaha.
then theres another barnburner (haha) at the Stade de France. France vs. Switzerland. Two up and coming teams, both who have done poorly in international play these last couple of years (france had the easiest seeding at world cup 2002, didnt score a single goal, switzerland got more red cards in the Euro Cup then goals, and did not win a game.) I predict a tight one, a 1 - 1 draw.
and then theres Finland -Czech Republic, the match of the weekend.Two evenly matched teams going head to head. Hyypia will have his hands full, but Finland just might pull off the upset.

Yeah its strange, Downing has played a lot more games this season, and theres no better crosser in the PL at the moment, seems a bit unfair. The only thing that got Cole picked in front of Downing was experience and perhaps being at a better club.
