Sorry, but I've got to 5% in downloading the CEP (obviously more by the time I've finished typing this out ), and don't have any of the NWN discs here, so I think that might be a problem. I don't know - your mate gets a new PC, so you lend him some of your favourite games but then need at least one of the discs to play.

Fingers crossed that I should step out into Folderol this evening.
I finally sorted out my broadband problems yesterday - and the help desk were useless (), and then got as far as creating a character, but it told me that I couldn't connect because I don't have one of the CEP .haks that I clearly have got.
I'll try again this evening, having a new copy of the .hak installed, and see how I go.
Hilariously, it seems that while we were at Spike's house, Jamski left his log-on details on my laptop, so it asks me if I want to join as Jamski. A guy could do great things with mod powers.

I've been playing Folderol a bit. I've got my cleric up to level 20 but am having a hard time finding decent things to kill to level her up faster. I gave up on the third codex quest. How do you get into those catacombs?

Well I played for a bit, and it is fun. Curiously, I somehow managed to get to level 2 before even getting off the boat.
Now Jamski has 2 new characters on his account. The one I used the other day, when I was told I didn't have the CEP hak (I had it, just in the Hotu hak folder, not the other one. ), which will be my proper character: Jacqueline Ducqorc, an elven spellsword in the making, and Professor Moriarty, an ogre mage who has a DEX of 7. I misread what you got the ogre bonuses in, so he's got quite a high CON, with the +4, and that atrocious DEX.
The most exciting news is that I was nearly killed by fire beetles in the forest, and only survived by legging it out of the area, and that my fishing pole broke. Bugger.

I started using the proper character just after making the last post above, and started killing some nettles. The nettle burglars are pretty tough for a level 2 fighter, although I think I may have done too well in the first fight with them, because they seem to have loads more HP now.

Probably faster to save the bosses for later runs if you only level 2. Regular nettles will give you more than enough xp.

I know, but I "lent" Spike my CD key before I got broadband. He played on Folderol, enjoyed it, but then Guild Wars stole his soul. His solution to my problem now that I have broadband, and want to play was that I took over his username. Besides, the CDkey details are only required to actually get a username and password. Once you've registered, then you can use these details on any computer, which is how Jamski was able to use mine.

Shame I was the only person there this evening. I doubt that too many would want to go out adventuring with a level 2 nothing, but a chat might have been nice.
