Chapter 3

First things first, the non combat results...

An agent seems to have sabotaged Lord Vetko's preparations. Under torture the spy confessed that she was a follower of Agath Agathari. (This is why I didn't wait for LN's orders )

Following his fleet's spectacular failure to avoid hitting one mad scientist's shield, the Imperial Navy of Basileus Naviwinat emerged from hyperspace above the homeworld of his identical clone, CLone Point, and ran straight into an identical clone of a shield. A torpedofrigate, a fighterfrigate and a lasercruiser were lost.

Chapter 3a

Pylkka's mighty fleet emerged from hyperspace over the holy planet of Jebus, determined to crush organised religion as quickly as the menace of revolutionary Tassadarist thought had been crushed. Ken Banobi's entire fleet hung in Pylkka's screens, forming a barrier of ships between the invaders and the planet.

The genetically pure pilots manouvered the attacking fleet into position. But wait! What was this emerging from behind Jebus's third moon? The markings on the ships identified them clearly. It was the battlefleet of Zol Ventris, defending his ally.

Pylkka's admiral had his orders. "To the death," Pylkka had commanded him. Surely the superior überhumans of his fleet could crush both Banobi and Ventris.

All three fleets hung in space a moment, holding themselves at extreme range, then they launched. Torpedos and fighters would decide this battle.

Chapter 3b

Dr Point knew that unscruplous overlords might try to take advantage of his shieldless situation, and set his entire fleet on full alert. He was wise to do so.

The Danz Corp's all-fighter fleet emerged from hyperspace alongside the all-torpedo ships of Senator Danq. Once more the galaxy would resound to the explosions of torpedos rather than the blaze of laserbeams.

Dr Point's fleet spread out to avoid being caught in the nuclear detonations of the torpedos, and both fleets engaged at extreme range. Outnumbered, Dr Point needed to be a master tactician to save his lab from destruction. But spread-out torpedos vs massed fighters was a recipe for disaster. Fightergeddon!

. That was a spectacular risk he took the first turn, building just 6 BPs of fleet but not shielding...

I call for an anti-proliferation treaty on JEBUS technology! It's fine for real overlords to have it for their own protection, but it is dangerous for the entire universe to let it slip into the hands of rogue states like those of Dr. Point and his clone.

Just one comment. Allied defence, like allied attack, counts as special order. Hence, Skanky who aided jaguar in his defence couldn't have built a special this turn.
