If you run too low on funds, it kills any neighbor deals where you're paying cash to neighbors, and it won't let you re-sign them until you have enough cash on hand to cover 24 months of the deal...

Along the way we encountered Kuciwalker's summer house. My copilot thought it was excellent target practice. After taking care of that we continued on to the Epwood UFO Station, where we bribed the manager to let us take a fighter jet for a spin.

Nothing much happened this turn. Spent time increasing education, I think I had one of the lowest ratings in my city in the whole region, which kind of makes sense since 1/3 of my population is upper class.

Next turn will be increasing education and high-tech jobs. Also starting to expand outwards, mostly $$ commercial services.

Mergdale '20:




It's been a slow five years. An energy deal was cut with Y City, but it was not as lucrative as the previous deal with El Dorado, and a $10,000 loan had to be taken out to secure the deal. Commercial sky-rises have started to make an appearance, but the city remains relatively stagnant with no new land to develop.

Did some mostly peaceful touring of Blountberg, Mergdale, and Fray Bentos. Avenues are great for U-drive-it, as it reduces the need to go offroading or ramming.

The Blount looks like its on its way ot being a manufacturing and commercial powerhouse, Fray Bentos is going to be the posh part of town where all the Kuciwalkers of the region can live, and Mergdale will make a great downtown once the power is back up and running.

I don't think there's a problem with that, especially since you started on a small tile... but after you switch you may want to play Mergdale still every now and then, so that more dense development has time to rise as demand increases.
