I still hit myself on the head for not asking few girls out while I was in HS!!! You know, it's a missed opportunity, and even when you reason after years 'wouldn't have worked out, had girls after those times anyway', it'll leave you wondering. BETTER to get rejected than wonder those things, because that's just loser sad.

You'll understand it when it happens, so don't let it happen, because only then will you realize it sucks more. Sure people get nervous. Of course. JohnT, no it's not the same thing. Women get married when they want something out of you. Usually they just give their bodies, but there's a time when they get bored to it, and feel like they need more expensive things, so they marry you.

Diss much of it is confidence, you have to feel good about yourself if you want anyone to take interest in you.

That starts by not putting yourself down. Why are you so down on yourself? That is the thing that would turn anyone off more than your looks.

Girls like feeling good when they are around you, and if you are always down on yourself, then you aren't going to attract anyone.

there is some good advice here but ill tell you that
i think honestly that she was just doing her job.
as a beautician shes trained to be friendly.
she was successful in making you want to come back
to her again. which is the whole point in being friendly while cutting hair. anyone that is trained properly can cut hair... but its the friendly conversation and feeling of caring that makes a person want to come back.
i would not take that too personal.
this is true of anyone in a service position.
