Okay.
How about "no pain, no gain" or "no guts, no glory?" The bottom line is, there is no such thing as a free lunch. If you long for a relationship, make a good, honest effort.
Don't worry, age is on our side. 28 is nothing, Rich, you aren't even 30, and 30 is just barely starting.

Rich has a few great things going for him. His skin is dark and chicks dig that, see: Blondes and black guys. Though not black, he's dark nuf. He's stocky, chicks dig stocky guys. See: girth. He's got black hair, chicks think guys with black hair are cool. See: erm, James Bond.
Suggestions for Rich:
1) Comb hair
2) Lose the camo, chicks think it's threatening. Get a pair of jeans and break em in, the faster the better.
3) Get a real shirt, light color, and maybe a cotton dress jacket, black. You can wear those without ties, which btw, chicks don't dig.
4) Or, Rich, forget the above, get your ass to our place in the Phils, and come as you are.
5) Duh.

Try rubbing your naughty parts against her. If she rubs back you're in. If not you can always run away.
Obviously you should do this in a part of town where you're not likely to be recognised.

I've already mentioned numerous times about the paralysing anxiety. It's not like it is just being 'a bit nervous' about it like other people, this stops me in my tracks. It just makes me feel very self-conscious and just utterly undesirable.
In some ways late 20s is just 'barely starting', in this respect, it's a world of difference...
