Morganites

We would be curious to know of you are interested in using your monatary skills to help secure peace on Planet. As you may know, a dispute over a loan has arisen between the Spartan Federation and the DataAngels. A mediation by the Morganites would hopefully provide a mutually agreeable loan payment and prevent unfortunate hostilities which could result in the tragic deaths of innocent civilians.

I would maybe tell more, that they have "excellent monetary skills" not only "monetary skills". This shows more we have more respect to their skills. We would receive warmer reply.

After rethinking it, I would also do not imply any hostilities. Think of it, as when we say "peace on planet" it is like the vendetta is about to be declared. We do not know it yet. We just take it as possibility, so maybe just state "good relations" instead of "peace"

I'm getting curious on why the Spartans are suddenly so... talkative... They didn't tell anything about another punishment attack or so. Perhaps they managed to infiltrate someone?

well i do negotiate in pbems,but all the diplo talk starts grossing me out(the effort to keep a face up).you shoulda seen the smooth talking i put on one player he fully went through with my intentions,not realizing how much he was giving me. (tho i had no intent to backstab)

Do we all share this feeling?
Maybe we should do as many AAA defenders with aerospace complexes as possible? A few more F-6 and B-6. possibly chaos ones?

IF most of us think that this is the case, then we better do the first strike. It would help if that cursed airgroup we spotted last turn would be gone. Unless of course they first want to create a number of chaos bombers/fighters. That could take a few more turns. I suggest preparing things for probe raping Yang and taking a base of him so he might wish to offer truce in the same turn. At least we'll have the capability to construct better weapons then.

getting chaos airplaces and more AAA is good. IIRC,its been awile since i checked the save,but that base nearest sparta might not have any AAA or just 1. prolly need more there.

how are sea invasions normally carried out? i assume they must invade by sea of they dont have drop

i know from reading books and stuff,that when your about to kill someone you talk and talk and walk right up to him.just the other day i saw in a tv series the guy walks up while talking about his plans and smashes him with a shovel(quite unpleasent...) and ive seen this theme alot in other places

Don't panic. Our building priority is as we are building: bombers and fighters, Aerospace and AAA.

Our parallel priority is infiltration of Spartan. As Mart says you don't attack unless you know more about the enemy and the size and distribution of his force.

We are tackling this in two ways. Moving our northen sea probe nearer to Yang's base that we think Spartan will attack. We attack a former Lal base empty it of Spartan defenders and probe ( easier said than done of course)

Our short term priorities are pre sentient, the HSA and stealing techs from Yang. After that we are looking for Fusion, I feel, and quickly.

checked.only drop unit they are maknig cannot be seen wther its clean or not. is there a indication on the unit stats panel eg 6x-3r-2 units have? only indicates drop plasma

Wait a sec. If the Spartans have MMI, that means they have stolen a tech but not infiltrated us? (unless they had multiple probe ships in the area of course)

By all means, sent the tech over to Morgans (and Gaians), Mart. No use in giving the Spartans Bio-eng for free.

I decided, that we might not forward to Morganities the techs that Gaians have. For 2 resons:
- Not to increase their research rate, when 2 more techs there possibly would be in Morganic databanks.
- Give Gaians choice of when to exchange them with Morganities.

And some more thoughts:

Gaians have now incredible fast research rate - 6 turns. So when they get Orbital Spaceflight in 2193, they would need Superconductor in order to start Fusion Power. Thei research rate might get more turns, but it is quite possible, Gaians alone can get both Fusion and Orbital in around 10 turns! Whether they cooperate with Morganities or not, this is their choice. We might for example send to Gaians these 2 techs in 2189:

- Cyberethics
- Pre-Sentient Algorythms

and in 2190:

- Superconductor.

Gaians might have to later get from Morganities the remaining techs. With gifting Gaians Superconductor we might ensure, that they later might research Fusion, depending on choices given. I have to check still.

If Spartans get PSA this turn, we lost HSA. If not, we have a great chance to deny it from anyone else.
