3350BC Conjecture Map and possible exploration moves Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Please Note:This map is supposition, based on FoW tile edges. This does NOT show that we are on an isolated island

Now, the colored lines:

Red Line - Tiles that are FoW edge tiles. The tyle type is conjecture, but some (like hills and mountains) are what we will find there. We have no idea as to what is on those tiles (bonus stuff, rivers, huts). The tiles that are outside this red line is Totally Unknown, includig the tiles with the RED X's

Yellow Circles with movement lines - Current Location of our 2 explorers (EW1 in west, EW2 in east). The YELLOW lines with arrows shows the best route, based on terrain and tiles uncovered from FoW.

Please note, that the line for EW2 is 18 tiles (moves/turns) long. So, EW2 will be around that point, at end of movement line, in 18 turns. Also note, that at that same time, Apolyton will have just started on it's 3rd settler built (after building Granary, EW#4, 2 Settlers & EW #5).

So, we won't have that much area uncovered, especially our southern area, before we are really cranking out Settlers (4 turn EW/Settler cycle).

It would be nice (although I know it;s not going to happen, atleast with the Active posters) that we send EW1 along the Brown Movement line (and at end in 18 turns). We should have Ivory out there somewhere, but won't know where it's at, until, very likely, at this point in time, until the settlers are headed out.

Better send Enk #2 back into the city after a small loop, and send #3 or #4 out west. I don't care if the Tundra is Grey, Greyer or Greyest, really.

Very nice, ET. Thank-you for the taking the time.

I moved E2 8 this turn (sses more) moving him 6 next turn has the same effect as 1-1.

I care if there is game or furs up there near the wheat. I also care where the coast is (and perhaps fish).

With the map being "man made" there's no telling what's around us! Take caution in making presumptions based upon what we know the map generator to do.

With an extra Enk now, and rejuggling of tile assignments to get the 2nd settler and IW on the same turn...

We may have enough spare gold to send EW2 further East and then South, and have EW3 or 4 go up river to see what may be near that wheat.

Do we want to know the shape of the tundra, or the land to the E and SE as a higher priority?

They are coming from W of EW1, or they would have jumped on his current position and come straight up through the jungle.

I think 4 for the next move and then consider. There's another hill-mountain SW of us.

Perhaps 2 then 4. That way we still "guard" their warrior, but at the same time, get in position for exploring in the direction we want to.

Go 2-2-2, to that mountain to the south. If we don't see anything there, then we can go west from there

Yeah. Akryll has good directions. More so now than last turn, we have to finf the CBR capital. Somewhere near their capital is a nice juicy settler.

Increase Your PM Length

can the 2-2-2 supporters plz give some good arguments

the argument for 4-4-1 is to find the brazilian captial ASAP!

and a hill is nearly as good as mountain...
the tile number we would explore is the same (21) tough of course the view from the hill might be blocked by forest, mountains, hills and jungle whereas the view from the mountain is only blocked by other mountains.

nevertheless the priority shoul be to find the capital!!!

I've just noticed! You're right. If he's coming from an eastward direction, their capital has to be somewhere on south-west.

This is a man made map with each Civ placed by a person. We also have no idea if CBR made a route adjustment because they found a hut or not. I still say go due South and then reexamine where we are and what we see and then make another choice of whether to go South or East from there.

We could send both EW 1 and 4 (?) to look for their capitol, with 1 doing 2-2-2 and then W/SW and with 4 doing 7-7 or 4-4 and follow that river for a couple of turns (likely position for a start)...

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Looking at how they are moving that warrior of theirs, I would say that they are probably due west of us, perhaps a bit south.

Because of this, I suggest we keep moving our scout south in hopes of finding a goodie hut and making a new contact. Scout #2 should keep going east north east, and has a mission of finding the ocean or lake that is that way.

Our other two will stay near home to protect it. The safe move.

2-2-2 works... if we go 4-4-4 (or thereabouts) after that. We can get through the possible places of their home lands pretty quickly.

We also have to keep in mind that there may be another civ to the S. There is a lot S of us.

This is looking like a huge land mass.

Was it completely man made, or simply adjusted?
