To all c3cdg's, I'm having issues with my rockbandit e-mail address. With my e-mail program, it tells me I have mail, that I am logging on to it for download and tries to download, but I don't get anything. As far as I know, I have 3 days of stuff that I don't even know about.

Well, sckorb sent it to me at 8PM EDT, does the time start then or at 5 something AM, my time. If it's 5 AM, it won't be until after 24 hours, if the 8PM, it will definately be done before then.

I misunderstood you. I thought you meant we should not spam in *this* thread. Perhaps in the future you'd choose to either email, IM or PM me if you object to something I say, as clearly you've been offended by my misunderstanding for which I offer my apologies.

You also dont seem to like me calling you a friend, so I will instead refer to you only as Ormuzd from now on.

None of the posts you linked too seemed to be mine - perhaps you should take it up with the posters via PMs rather than post here.

I'm letting you know that I won't be playing this, until tomorrow night (Thursday night).

I've been doing research on the Company that I've gotten a second job interview with, come friday. The Intial interviewer had wanted me to take a look at several things about the company and I don't want to screw this up.

My Brother-in-law to be (i.e. my sisters fiance') is putting his neck out with this company, helping me get this job and they are counting on my getting this done. My sister tells me, on the sly, that I've pretty much got this job, but that they still want to hear some things from concerning what they want to hear, before it's finalized.

I'll see if Beta can do the save, but if not, I'll do it first thing after I get off work.

30 hours down

3 day play average lately

so 42 hours to go

maybe we should resign ourselves that the timeframe agreement is now officially stuffed... and let this game just dissapear into the never regions of apolyton. then it can become a pbem like other demo games, to be played whenever someone is so bored they finally give up and play this save

Snoop had great ideals when this was started, and each team agreed to the 24 hours, thus why we had team members, so not one person was stuck as turn player, allowing the fabled save to move along at a good rate.

We hope to play the turn sunday night, which would be nearly 48 hours, but may have to hold it until monday night depending on various issues.

AM sent Euphorica the turn on Saturday at 02:05 pm GMT - it is now 7:23 GMT on Monday.

Euphorica have had the save for over 2 days, and this is the latest in a string of serious over-runs. There team is present and capable of playing, they have elected without the concensus of the rest of the teams to hold things up whilst they debate. This is not acceptable.

They should have been skipped by now.

I vote that if they go over three days, we hold up the game for as long as it takes for an admin to remove their civ using Ctrl + Q and we play on..

As much as I hate to say it, I agree that Euphorica should have their turn skipped.

And the next time the save goes unplayed for 24 hours, skip it at 24:01 hours unplayed.

I am also getting pissed off with this, moreso than I was with the previous roleplaying...

Look - the 24 hour rule was proposed for peace time. I made that clear when arguing vehemently for it, read the threads. It doesn't work during war - there's just not enough time to coordinate all of the diplomacy, especially in such a nuts war as this one. Hopefully it won't be necessary all the time - but these few turns, as anyone who knows the details of what's going on in our territory would know, are insane for us, and require significantly complicated diplomatic negotiations to continue to survive. And I'm not one to lay down and give up, regardless of how absurd my position is ...

I posted above that I needed time to do this, and it would be played sunday or monday. Well, it's monday -2am tuesday i guess - but close enough, and it's played. I'm not saying that we should auto-extend, but if there's a post, that should be good enough in these circumstances, and it should probably start at 48 hours during this war for ALL of us, anyway.
