A couple of things:
- They seem to have been exploring the current direction that we are headed into. So, our conjecture as to where the next civ is might be right on. We should find them soon (as soon as we clean up some barbs...

-why settle 1 tile away from coast? Could it be because of their own Ivory or is that city a Military camp?? If it's on a river, it would not be optimal to settling away from Coast, but it might depend on what terrain/resources they have at that site. They might have settled right on a Lux and are waiting on connecting it.

yes, they would still be at annual income 1 but their rank would be higher than ours, as their real annual income would be 1.5

I was in the MSN with Rodrigo Wosret, from CBR. They are willing to attach any info about other civs to our interest in discuss the proposes they made.
I mean, they will share info only if they think we're friends. If we act evasive, slipper and dissimulated, they will be suspicious about us. Of course

Hmm or did we realy grow faster = can expand faster as them. than should be a nap only useful .

Maybe for the start a nap for 20 turns - including a terretory treaty till that?

Btw, I'm pretty sure they not found any other civ yet. Wosret told me they will meet someone soon, because the next step will be curraghs.
This position (curraghs) is not official, but he's sure that will be.

We are not to give them any other impression than that we want to be friendly with them. This includes making tech deals, trading maps, planning tech paths and possible future trades as long as our relationship contiues down a happy/peaceful path.

The first step in this is to get the tech deal done along with the screen shot trade. Then we can talk about a NAP with them; possibly for 25 turns with a 25 turn extension upon the ending of the first 25 turns as mlong as either team does not object. This will give us our 50 turn NAP with a war against them coming either soon after or the same would allow us to extend for another 25 turns and make the war happen at turn 76 post NAP.

Consuls? Master Zen? This sound good to you guys?

Unfortunately, they proposed a package deal.

Now, there's an idea... agree to the 50 turn with provisions for 25 turn extensions on agreement of both parties.

That gets us out of the overly long NAPs.

Aro, could you take another look at your translation? Some of the grammar is very rough in English, and their wording 'on average' seems strange.

I think it goes without saying that the treaty will be written in English. Nobody from other teams or admins could be expected to make heads or tails of Portugese.

"On average" here means only something around 50 turns. Not 20 or 100. There's an expression, "em média", witch can be literally translated as "on average".

I remember previous round where we were fully prepared for a for after turn 80. So, what is the problem to agree to the 50 turns NAP? We will not even have a look into their territories.

I think we will gain more from this deal then give. I mean we will have more information from their maps then they from ours. It seems their expansion goes well but with the curraghs they will lack land units even more.

As soon we agree that sooner the NAP will expire.

Please let them know that reaction is positive on the whole, but that our leaders need a few more days to formulate our reply, particularly regarding trade of screen shots/map information.

They should be able to expect us to be finished by Monday and then to get an official reply to them.
