This decision was not about something where both options are equally attractive. This was choosing to walk on the sidewalk versus walking in the middle of the road, and most countries chose the sidewalk, which is expectable, but some followed the Americans (they are looking for a stolen car) to the middle of the road. Middle of the road is perilous, and you do it only if you have some interest in doing so.

Nice to get a sane response

I disagree a little since I see it as some accident has happened and some people choose to stay on the sidewalk and just look at the poor victims while others choose to take action and start giving first aid etc despite of the dangers involved.

I have a little difficulty seing what Saddam did to the iraqui people as a stolen car - in my view a more proper picture would be a severe car crash with bodies spread around and people trapped inside burning wretches of cars.

But in truth, the Americans can't even Find the stolen car (WMD).

And OK, Denmark did it for the justice, but as far as I know you don't do this sort of thing regularly? Or you do? How many did you send to Gulf War I (western)?

And if you shifted toward a more involved foreign policy, when did that happen?

Duh, that's because drinking here is almost illegal. If drinking was legal, those destilleries wouldn't be illegal. Duh. In Denmark, it's the law to stay drunk. My company used to have a production plant in Denmark, where the employees could buy strong beer (5%) in wending machines 24/7. (As if I was sober writing this...)

5% beer available at your working place?

Prosecution, we have seen enough evidence. Denmark is guilty as charged.

On the other hand, my company also had a production plant in US, where the Swedish plant manager had a tough time introducing a no-gun policy. "There is no situation in your job, ever, when a gun would be of any good use!". The Yanks had a very hard time to understand that.

Quite rigth, the stolen car was not found, but you forget that it has never been a question about a stolen car, but the question about an allegedly stolen car. To stay in your terminlogy, there has been several prrofs saying that a car has been stolen and the accused person has even strengthened it through his actions and sayings.

What is the problem that all are convincend that there is a stolen car - even admitted by the suspect - and someone reacts just to find out that it wasn't true ? Is it a problem that a sideeffect is that more than 20 mill of iraquis suddently get a chance to choose an alternative to livinig under saddams regime ?

I think that the change against a more active involvment started in old yogoslavia - we both lost people and had some incidents where our heavy panzer said "stop here",

It's not some kind of rightwing hubaluu - the yougoslavian actions was both descided and executed under a left wing government.

A little follow up. The involvment in Iraq was descided by a rigth wing government, but we have recently had an election and they won again.

Yeh, I plead guilty. That is we can handle it because it's legal here - problem with you swedes and norwegians is that you can't handle it

Lego rocks! Or certainly used to, I haven't played since I was young.
I think you'll find the Irish, the Belgians and the Luxembourgoise at the head of the European drinking league though.

Well let me ask you few questions Paik....

Do you know what big businesse Denmark has excluding prostitution? Legos. This is true, it's a huge business.

Do you know what legos are made out of? Plastic. It's not just part plastic, it's ALL plastic.

Do you know what is needed to make plastic, a commodity that is kind of .. hot now?

OIL.

What Danes don't have? OIL. What do they need to make legos? OIL.

You see, this is all in the dirty triangle of Halliburton, Lego and Toys'R'Us.

Depends on what you call a lie. SH was supposed to have it, he didin't deny it, but reality has proven that he didn't have it - who lied ?

Reelcting an right wing government is actually difficult here so I guess that the danish people didn't think that someone had lied.

To be true, I think that people has found out that the real lie is that there hasn't been told any lies.

The real lie is that Lego is for kids. It's all about oil to make plastic to make legos. Did you know the chairman of the board of Lego is also in the board of KBR? Well.. did you? Now you know. Did you know Bin Ladens have invested in KBR? I wouldn't be surprised if they have direct connection to Lego as well.

As usual you don't know what you are talking about

Denmark is actually exporting oil - not much but more than Finland.

About big business - have you heard about maersk - worlds largest merchant fleet
