Why? It has been mostly Danes up there since its second colonization. Just because it was discovered by Norwegians gives you no right to have it. All you had were a bunch of hunters in the north-eastern part.
Should Norway also have had Faroe Islands and Iceland?

But then in 1814 it became a danish crown-colony, so problem solved and if you have to complain, complain to Wellington for beating the french so Danmark ends on the losing side and as so have no saying in the Vienna-proces.
Hmm, interesting thought, what would Scandinavia and perhaps the world look like if Denmark had kept Norway?
