Watching the news was disheartening. Palestinian schoolkids trying to escape the bombs of israeli F-16s that kept falling all around them (one kid didn't make it). Disgrace.

If this is not terrorism of a whole people then I don't know what is.

Sharon is a murderous bastard that is able to proceed to barbaric acts against innocents fighting only for their freedom just because it has US backing.

In the last 4 months around 124 palestinian kids were killed in contrast with just 20 israeli.

The EU should bomb Israel untill such criminals are out of power and put an end to palestinian slavery.

That's silly. Israel wouldn't nuke the Euros unless they were about to go completely under. 1st off, I don't think the Israelis have missiles capable of reaching Western Europe, and 2nd, the French&British (who do have ICBMs, IIRC) would nuke their asses back into the desert as soon as it escalated to that.

Paiktis, such casualties happen anytime you throw that much ordanance around for so high up in the sky. You posted almost the exact same thread a few weeks ago, complaining about America bombing of Afghanistan. Bombing Israel would just be more of the same. True, the IAF would whip any Euro air force there is seven ways from Sunday - unless the Euros were able to a)base aircraft out of Syria or somewhere nearby, b)launch a coordinated EU effort, especially with the RAF, Luftwaffe, and French Air Force, and c)have the political will to take massive losses in a successful campaign.

Pilot for pilot, Israel is superior to any European nation, and plane for plane they are mostly superior, with the probable exceptions being the Grippen, the Rafale, and, when it enters service, the Typhoon. Tornados and Harriers, though, are just not gonna cut it.

BTW, C0ckney, do you know what the Spanish Legion is? You wouldn't want to know. They are a highly elite unit, just as good if not better than the Israelis best. They are up there with the British SAS.

I've heard good things about the SBS too, but I don't know a lot about those guys, supposed to be real badasses though.

No chance. Granted, Israeli airforce is well trained and decently equiped, but EU has thouthands of reasonable quality planes and if it actually had the political will to deploy them Israel would be mincemeat. (Not that I support that, just commenting)

I'd say the Soviets had the baddest ass special forces (Spetznatz?). I'm not so sure if they still exist as an effective fighting force, but from what I heard, they were the roughest there ever was.

Almost every post in this thread is sheer fantasy. The EU would never bomb Israel, and were parts of it to, the Luftwaffe couldn't participate. If they tried basing planes in Syria, America would gun them out of the sky before Israel even got a crack at them (assuming we wouldn't do that from the beginning of hostilities) and it would also cause a split in NATO since Turkey sure isn't going to go along nicely. And as for Infat's suggestion, watch out, the Israelis are experts in targetted killings.
