By the way -- someone had a question about gay and queer on this thread. AGAIN

Gay is not an insult for us, and when we use queer among ourselves, it's usually not a bigoted insult for us. However, if a straight person who wants to insult us uses the word queer, we would be insulted.

But one example of the good use of the word queer -- there is this great series on the channel, Showtime called "Queer as Folk." I simply LOOOOOOVE that show.
