I don't think we're in Brønshøj anymore

Hello again Fun,
But you're basically saying that we are all born asexual then, right? And then we develop our sexual indentity later in, say, our teenage years?
What I'm basically saying is that as a natural part of the before mentioned status of sexuality as a part of your identity, your sexuality continues to develop your entire life, not just in puberty. Maybe, if you are active in homosexual circles, you've met a woman who was beat up by her husband when she was 25 to 30 years old, and from that time on has been unable to engage herself in any kind of sexual relations with a man. Or if you want to talk about other forms of sexuality that are different from the norm, it's also been proved that people that have been exposed to incest are more likely to become child abusers themselves when they become adults, or for that matter obtain a couple other sexual deviances.
Another more scientific example could be the often quoted theory that some people develop homosexuality as a result of a dominating mother in the first couple of years (I cannot elaborate that much on the theory but I know it's represented by psychologist Johan Cullberg, in case you're interested).
So in conclusion, no, we're not born as asexuals. They're people without any sex drive whatsoever, and you're very much born with a sex drive. It would be more precise to say you were born without sexual preferences because this is a part of your identity and we all had to start from scratch. This means that if I had the relevant details about your life and the psychological insight required, then I could tell you why you are today a homosexual man. It doesn't have anything, or at least much to do with genes or coincidence.
Now, faded glory,
We can talk, think, reason. I dont think Bi Sexuality or Homosexuality is applicable or justified in today's world. There's just no natural justification beyond preference. Its just not normal. Plain and simple. Its genetic suicide.
What about masturbation, then? I asked Bod's the same question, but I hope you're capable of answering, too. From your "natural justification, genetic suicide" perspective, there is the difference between a heterosexual man who masturbates occasionally and a bisexual man who engages in homosexuality occasionally and so your statement doesn't really make sense. Especially not since bisexual men seems to get more women than the rest of us

"Homosexuality doesn't make sense," faded?
What doesn't make sense, Sparky, are your ill-formed trolls and small-minded pettiness and ignorance.

Stew! Now you're here, reply to my post...
quote: Stew, don't talk such utter bull.
Perhaps there are one or two people that claim to be bisexual for ulterior motives; however, they are an extremely small minority, and whatever you might now claim, your original post read "bisexuals are only choosing to be like that because it's currently trendy". Not some or a few, you tarred all bisexuals with that brush. It's a revolting, bigoted comment, and I sincerely hope it's only a troll.
Besides, what would you know about the "goth/metal/punk cliques"? You wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. You bought NOFX and Offspring shirts and were too embarassed to wear them! How can you make such stunning generalisations about groups you don't even know or understand?
I've seen people go through hell over their bisexuality. Some of whom you know too. I've ventured far further into those "cliques" than you ever had the balls to do, and I've yet to meet a "trendy" bisexual. Yes, some "alternative" people do look down on those that aren't like them (which I think is why you seem to hate them so much), but again it's a small minority. It's not trendy to be bisexual. For everyone other than the bigots, it's irrelevent.
Like Jon said, grow up. |
You've ignored it twice already.

It's perfectly natural. If it's seen in other primates, then it's natural. Therefore, your arguement is flawed.
Or are you saying that science is wrong? Or is it just that nature's unnatural?
