It's not that I have anything against people from other continents, but rather that most of the prominent sets of players in this forum are American or Australian, and the times they play usually don't work out well for me. Anyone else in the same boat?

I have some time again at the moment (RL can take a back seat to civ for once) and I would like to play some evenings, say anytime from 7GMT onwards. I usually play 1x1x, but the only thing that I'm inflexible on is the movement bit of that. I'd prefer to spread games over several nights, so duels or small games are probably best. Any difficulty and map settings are fine.

If you reside anywhere other than Europe and can play at the times indicated (perhaps weekends), then this request of course also applies to you.

come to www.civ2.de. there´s good community and this site is still very alive. it has an own league running and it even has a chat. you will find lot´s of players there. most of them are german but they´re very nice though.

I'm from the UK. Up for most types of games and any settings, but I prefer king 2x2x duels.

Yeah I saw you were in the UK; I believe I asked if you wanted to play multiplayer in a different thread we were both posting in.

Anyways my email is spalmer@mfindex.co.uk, my icq is 75355218 (but don't use that for a few days). I am closed-minded to the evils of 2x movement, but will play 2x production if you repeatedly poke me with a sharp instrument. I'm easy on all the other points of contention.

I would really love to play an MP game, I've never played one before so I have no preference on any of the x1 and x2 stuff your all talking about. (I have a no idea what it means either!)
