Yin, it seems to be mainly Southern Europeans: Italians, Portuguese, and Spaniards. I didn't see the Irish, the Poles, the Swedes, the Danes, the English, the French, the Russians, the Slovenians, the Belgians, or the Croatians complaining about the referees as much.

Yeah, but that's because the Irish fans are great.

LOL! Yeah...off-sides should be ignored when Spain is about to score. LOL!!!! |
There's a thing called FIFA Laws of Game, i understand that for you it is just an annoyance but, mind you, someone here still believe it has to be applied

And some bad calls went against Korea, too. |
Yes, Spanish stole a throw-in

If people can't play the (World Cup, i would add) game without a professional referee, they should stop playing, i agree with you on this one.

the Korean players are (this is important) the ones who score the goals. |

I saw spanish score two goals during regular time while Koreans never scored, anyway, if you say so...

And you accused me of racism in another thread! You're incredible!
Anyway it's not my business (it's seems to be a Korean one ), let's go Korea! win this World Cup! you'll de$erved it, but who will raise it to the sky? the captain or the referee? Korea Republic-Italy

No, the countries that have had the biggest issues about referees are Italy, Spain, and Portgual. That is not racism, it is fact.

Even the FIFA never said the referees were correct in their decisions which are under discussion. They always excused it as "human errors".
Do you suppose that humans should not make any mistakes?
|
Of course they should not, but they do. It's about the frequency and the influence of the mistakes I was talking about.

And given the fact that one wrongly allowed/disallowed goal can change the match completely (and far more than +/-1 in the final result), there are way too many of them.
Maybe, maybe not. Paraguay (or was it Uraguay?) was down by three then came back to tie. You can never predict how one of these mistakes will affect the game.
|
A perfect reason to try to get rid of them, as much as possible.

One or two over the entire chamionship is ok, but not one in every other game. With that many human errors, you'll have either to change the referees or the rules of the game.
How? Most often it's not goals (dis)allowed per se, but for other things. Besides, how do you correct for a mistake? It's not like Handmelon where everybody lines up for a replay. You just can't get the same situation again.
|
As far as it is a fault only of the referees, better qualified referees. For the rules: Given the size of the pitch, and the distances to run, one or two more people in black wouldn't be bad.
