Well, with that logic, if the mother called the shots, it would constitute murder.
It doesn't matter the slightest which label you choose to apply.

OK
I know a lot of people who grow up in crappy environments
and they are glad that they lived (usually)
and if they are not we tell them they should be (which I think is right)
so that argument isn't right

we all suffer in life
you would need a strong case that much suffering would occur
and none of the things that make life worthwhile would
there are a lot of people who were really screwed with their birth, but have a better life (to my eyes) than many who were born without birth defects to good homes
