I have to say that I must side with Asher, Strangelove and Tom. What a strange brew.

The procedure seems to have questionable benefits and potentially serious side effects.

In my case, I am 'uncut'. I would have been, because when I was a tott it was standard practice in these parts, only... my older brother had serious complications from his and thus my mother fended the blade masters away from me. I am slightly older than the average Polyzen so when I was eligible things were different here than what Asher is indicating.

When I was in school, in the locker room, it was obvious at a glance that I was the only 'complete' unit in the lot. Nobody ever made an issue of it. No woman has ever told me to go away based on the appearance of my gun.

Don't know if this helps. At this point this thread is prolly beyond help. However, you asked for opinions of men on the subject. So mine is that I would not have it done to my prospective son, because I think it is unecessary and intrusive.

I am undecided about whether it should be banned, but I am leaning in that direction unless some valid medical opinions on the benefits are brought to my attention.
