I would have had no complaints if you had attacked Makeo's city and then pushed through. So why cede the city?

Makeo obviously thought it was a no alliance game because he revolted to attack me. We all definitely agreed on no alliance, no city bribe, no unit bribe; but with tech trading allowed.

I had no problems with your trade bloc with finbar and map trading is fine.

I think empire splitting is only an AI phenomenon.

Does it happen in MP? If so I guess it's a roll of the dice based on civ strength obviously...

I've captured several home cities and taken three of Horse's homeland cities already. His cities so far seem to only have one defender in them so on that basis I have enough firepower to take out the crossed cities in my homeland plus make significant in-roads in the shaded area...

Makeo will confirm the no alliance thing because you don't have to revolt to declare war in a Democracy IF you get your ally to ask you to declare war.. DUH!

Don't flatter yourself. I saw an opportunity and took it. I would have done the same to makeo.

My main objective was to stop your spaceship landing in 1840. That was fully achieved. The problem I have is your civ should have gone into civil war and didn't.

The SS was a deliberate sideshow. I never build them. I just wanted to see if I could beat Makeo by building in 2 or 3 turns and getting the fastest ship underway. Now the real show, what was that other way of winning?
