First of all accept my deepest condolences. Sadly, I know very well how most of you feel.
Second - allow me to appologize for feelings that appear as gloating from Eli's side. He is wrong in doing that. But sadly, the grief from the Israeli events, and the frustration of having to live with such bombings daily without being understood, have caused him to be unsocial.
Also please do not think that all Israelis feel the same.
There have been many responses in Israeli forums, ranging from gloat like feelings, to feelings of empathy and support.
I hope you understand that it is very stressing to be living with such events daily, and when it happens to someone else, it is both unsual, and you "hope" for a kindred spirit - someone that will finally understand you.
So it's not a real gloat - 'yay, fins are dead'. Finland is one of the countries which both on apolyton and in real life, have been most supporting of Israel, and the Israeli public is aware of it.
But what it is, is a hope that out of this horror, a new understanding will arise, that such terror, shouldn't be accepted as justified, or as legitimate for any side; and that such events will be more widely seen for the sheer brutality and evil doing they are.

Sirotnikov, you are very right. This is a very new situation to Finns; we can't even start to imagine the feeling of knowing that every time you go out, shopping, going about your business, you might be killed. I think I've started to understand the Israelis a bit better.
This all feels a bit surreal right now. Vantaa is after all ways from where I live, and since I think this was just a random nutjob, I really can't sense what many people at Vantaa must be feeling at the moment.

Of course not. We all know, and if we don't we should, that Eli is a sad, sad person.
