A thread to discuss our moves in the next turns.
-------------
Since there is very little to do, I suggest us to drop the controller stuff and just have whoever is online to play the game.
But there are a few things that need to be decided first :
1) Should the worker road the forest(with game) he stands on now?
2) What tile should the worker work on next?
3) Where should the warrior(done in 4 turns) go?
4) What do we build after the warrior?
More general discussion :
5) What should we research next?
6) If we are on a small island, how should our research priorities change?
And even more general discussion :
7) If the GoW screenshot is correct and we are too on an island, it will be safe to assume that the entire map is archipelago one. How will that affect the game?

My opinions :
1) Yes.
2) A road in the tile directly WEST of the city. This way we can both get closer to the Incense, and have another roaded tile in the general direction of our future expansion.
3) South-West and then directly South.
4) Settler. Doh.
5) A bee-line to Literature.
6) If there is visible coast within range, a bee-line to Map Making before Literature.
7) No idea, I never played on Archipelago maps.

Note concerning research :
What I means is that we should go for Literacy after we finish Ironworking, since Ironworking was already decided.

Ok.
What really concerns us now are points 1-4, and 5 out of 6 members agreed on them. So whoever is online when it's our turn should start roading the forest tile and press enter.

6 out of 6. Went back and looked at the start. Was originally going to argue that we should move the worker without building the road in the ofrest - what are we going to gain - and it is going to cost us a few turns while he/she does it, but, it is the best tile, and will net us some early commerce. So, my answers:
) Should the worker road the forest(with game) he stands on now? Yup
2) What tile should the worker work on next? the one due west of the city - off the pointy corner. It is the bee-line for what may be an isthmus, and we are only one road away from hooking up the incense.
3) Where should the warrior(done in 4 turns) go? Go west young man - go west.
4) What do we build after the warrior? As was said earlier - duh - settler.
More general discussion :
5) What should we research next? I agree to the above, To be dictated by whether we are on an island - and I don't think we are.
6) If we are on a small island, how should our research priorities change? As above.
And even more general discussion :
7) If the GoW screenshot is correct and we are too on an island, it will be safe to assume that the entire map is archipelago one. How will that affect the game? I haven't played a lot of archipelago games, but in the ones I did, no one started on an island. They were all stretchy pieces of land - which is what I think we are on. The one thing I did note - os that with stretchy pieces of land - you want to get out there fast, claim the land, and cut the others off. Also - there ARE probably lots of islands nearby that warrant exploration and settling. But again - we will soon find out.
I think the GoW thing is pretty much acknowledged as a joke - albeit not a bad one. Made for a good thread - especially the Glory of Water comment.
And finally - I agree Eli - that we should think about the move stuff now, but the governance stuff shouldn't take us too long, and should prevent issues in the future, Besides - WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A TON OF TIME TO KILL. We gotta chat about something. Let's complain about the government.....
(Now - will someone please tell me how to use those damn smiley's - that last comment was too good to go without one..) (Eli - I think you got the tutoring job by default.) (Speaking of which - I'm off to try the chat connection)

OK I played 3850BC
In summary I declared war on 7 human civs and raised luxeries to 100%.
then I pressed enter.
Now I have to figure out who to send it to. I even forgot the order we go in.
I have a screen shot in .bmp format if anyone is interested.
