The Druids seem to be employing some sort of crude beast of burden to convey themselves, the men have come to fear this beast, and it's riders, they call themselves the Pankakeers, hah, what a ridiculous name..... some pancakes would be nice though..... no don't call him, I've had enough of him.

Other than that things are goiung well, Berserkers giving us trouble, especially when they get behind the lines, i mean, we take over land and it should be ours, yes? Anyone knows that. These Berserkers keep rising up against us after we take some land though, stinking Greenlanders. It would do us all one less bother if they all keeled over..... no please don't write that, I didn't mean it. I have a career, please.

Anyway the war, The Welsh Longbowman have been absolutely crushed by the Ballistae the Wisconsinites ssent s, good men the Wisconsinites, Yes, Quite nice, they sent a division of Sioux here though and I can't say I liked them. No, a bit provincial. Fanatical really, wouldn't fight a war on decent terms, I think their still fighting the Irish that the Druids sent here, a hell of a battle there, We put them against the Pancakeers at first, trying to fight the speed thing, those red blokes just stared at the blasted horses.

I sound more British than Roman, though I imagine a Roman would have a bit of a British accent, Imagine what a Latin accent on English would sound like, hah.

Druidish ships, with Polish support, landed in Southern Greenland, they took a surprising amount of land and faced the uprisings of the natives quite well. A few were killled, but alls well that ends well, eh?

The Wisconsinite attack on Iceland progressed marvelously, crushing the resisitance of the Polish Hussairs who were defending the Island.

Te Island is currently split between the Wisconsinites and Poles, even though the map doesn't show that, the Poles continue to allow the Druids to administer their half, but are the only force in the Area.

Mowhawk blood scars the American soil, there are only a few Mowhawk tribes remaining, they live in Wisconsinite Mowhawkia (OOC: The land you expanded to North of the Great Lakes, Meta) The leading cheif says, and I quote:

The Emperor has been dethroned. In a twist of fate a Roman sword executed Cinna. His failure to secure a timely victory against the Druids caused everlasting shame to him and his kin. Rome has decided that Cinna has done more harm than good and therefore dealt with him accordingly. There was originally much speculation on who would rule next, his wife had taken the throne but only temporarily. Being part Goth, she too was put to the sword. It was obvious now that General Domitus Corbulowould succeed. And that he did, arriving in style, strait from Greenland. He promised Rome victory no matter what the costs, and his patriotism much inspired the ruling elite. The populace was appeased for now, although the time would come when they would expect to see their sons returned from battle. The slave hating Druid killing machine is just what this fledging empire needs. He is true Roman and knows the battlefield well. Rome shall continue her just fight against the Druid under Domitus Corbulo.

The king sat on his throne alot had happened since the start of the war most of it good, do to a change of government Egypt long time enemy of Phoenicia had become friendly, the Estruicians offered there help, and there had been many victories, but reasently the war had started to stall out and needed a way to be finished quickly but how, so he sat there and he decided to look at the historical scrolls as he thought it would help him think. So he looked through the scrolls and then he came to the section on the Crimeans and how the Bireme had been built to beat them and an idea came to him he would revolutionize the Navy just like that they would build the Quadreme it would have all the current avancement of the navy such as throwers but would have 4 rows of ores it would be the must powerful ship on the seas. In an attempt to thwart The Druid's new plan Rome has devised a new battle strategy. Any non-loyal or rebellious citizens in Greenland will have their towns burned down. Any border towns with Druid-Greenlanders will also be burned. Rome will burn all towns in Greenland that are not loyal to the true cause. Also, Rome will offer tax breaks and citizenship incentives to loyal Greenlanders who wish to live in a nation that is militarily competent. The more propaganda you spread, the more civilian towns we will burn. We won’t kill your citizens, but we lessen their chances of surviving the coming winter.

We urge the Wisconsinites in Iceland to do the same.

Druid: While Rome enjoys as much comic relief as any nation, you're "ultimatums" and "threats" have send our people over the edge. Morale is actually up 14% because soldiers can't stop laughing at your outrageous attempts to threaten and write in Latin at the same time. It is rather shameful when a nation has to stoop to angry one liners to make themselves appear on top. Save your threats for the battle field please.
