Fine by me. Thanks.

In your thread, I think a good way to categorize the list would be by type of issues, as well as content: is it a bug fix, an improvement of an existing (more or less) working part of the game and or a completely new feature? Examples:
- Fix the sea sprite bug
- Improve AI naval usage
- Add PBEM diplomacy
|
Excellent idea, yes. I knew there would be a sensible and simple categorization, and that looks to be a good one.

"Hey, people, I think that all of us should go out and buy an Activision game now... "
I promise I will when the source code is released:-)

I have MTW.
The strategic side of it sucks. It is in a class of its own as far as I am concerned for being the worst game I ever played as far as game flow and interfaces go. Meaningless menus, small hard to read messages and menus, no auto cycling or orders for units on the strategic map, and I could go on for a week.
But I will stick to my promise and buy an Activision game if the code is released. Cross my heart Activision.
Will publicly announce that purchase and provide proof when it happens.

I'd have to go put on my sandals and take a 12,000 mile pilgrimage for you to buy me a soda.
That's ok, there's vending machine near my head.
I don't drink alcohol - it just makes my stomach hurt and it makes me more pissed off at everything.
At least when I don't drink, my stomach doesn't hurt.

If I got it correctly it is not only CtP2 source code that is pending for release to the public but also C:CtP's, right?

It's all a big mishmash of both codebases. Last count, there were like 1.8 million lines of code. I don't know how much ATVI cut, though.

What do you mean?
Won't they release both source codes seperatly?
Of cource if they finally do because I see no guarantee or official statement that they will yet...
