As for BCS... here's the best-case scenario for we BCS haters.
1) Oklahoma and the Miami-Va Tech winner both lose a game. Very possible.
2) In the ensuing chaos of multiple one-loss teams, a Big 12 or SEC team that didn't even play in the conference championship somehow backs its way into the Sugar Bowl, like Nebraska a couple years ago.
3) Meanwhile, both Northern Illinois and TCU play out the string and finish as the only undefeated teams in Div I-A.
The very thought of this situation warms every part of my blackened, dead heart... Granted, not very likely, but possible nonetheless.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw that.
Penalized? Hell. That ******* ought to be brought up on assault charges.

We'll see who has the better record come January. I'm fairly confident Michigan would be undefeated if they had played Nebraska's schedule to date.

I say it because, apart from Missouri, Nebraska has played their big games at home. Iowa and Oregon were on the road, where, frankly, we're mediocre. Maybe Missouri would beat us, maybe not. I'd put my money on the Wolverines, though. (I also would have put my money on the Huskers, for what its worth.)

Meanwhile, there are seven ranked Big Ten teams, all with at least five wins. Needless to say, this is two more than any other conference.
So put a sock in all the "Big Ten sucks" stuff.
Anyway, six of those teams face off in three games this weekend... oughta be fun.

K-State? their season is over.
Neb. They can come back from that slap down this weekend, but Kstate is finished.
