On the whole DS9 vs. TNG and Wolf 359... how long did they stay there? Just a minute or two... you can easily just reason away that minor inconsistency with two things:

1) the writers didn't want to rescue anybody due to time constraints
2) Even Data can be wrong.

Though there is a bigger hole.

Who is the actor that plays Tom Paris? Because he shows up as one of Wesley's classmates in TNG as somebody else who gets kicked out of the academy for being a daredevil or something. Now that's a blantant inconsistency.

Same with Tuvok being on Enterprise-B (or at least looking like it... except for it looks like the same guy except for being human...)

You could kind of ignore some of the problems with Star Trek when it was all in one time period... but the whole Enterprise thing almost looks like it's happening in the Mirror Universe anyway, which really throws it off for me.

Oh come on. Is it really that important to know the date of first contact with klingons? Or ferengi? Or where minor races go? And I'd hate to break it to you, but re-using the same actor is not a plot hole (not that that has anything to do with enterprise). You know, Lenin had a problem with dates.

I guess for you Star Trek has to read like a book, and every date must be internally verified all the time. For me that's COMPLETELY missing the point of the show. Really, make up a date when they met the ferengi. It doesn't matter anyway!! It's completely useless information and it has nothing to do with Star Trek's themes or even 99.99% of its plots. Give me a break.

As far as this mirror universe crap, I don't know what to say. People see what they want. TOS looks a LOT different from TNG, in color hues, sets, and everything. The voyager sets are recycled TNG ones. Complain all you want. It's missing the point, and more to the point ,you are inconsistent in that you only pick on enterprise. Whatever.

Of B5 and "Big Bads" in a post-First Ones era:
Actually, 2 of the B5 movies set up the possibility of 2 seperate "big bads" Third Space gave us the race from one realm the Vorlons tried (and unfortunately succeded) to open a specialized jumpgate to. The Legend of the Rangers (aka LotR ... heh) gave us another gate to an alternate realm. The underground city it was found in was several billion years old ... older than even the Vorlons, Shadows, or presumably the rest of other First Ones we saw in B5 ... except Lorean, naturally. Remember, he is THE First One.

Of Tom Paris'es:
What, different and unrelated people can't resemble one another? Well, there goes the celebrity impersonators industry...

Of Tuvok:
Vulcans live a looong time. I doubt Tuvok was meant to be that old. Actually, I believe one VOY episode revealed his age (not the same episode that Janeway suprised him with a cupcake), and it wasn't nearly old enough to place him anywhere near TMP-era vessels. Read "Of Tom Paris'es"

Of Dyson-spheres:
Obviously, they are a plot-recycle, but shouldn't be mistaken for the "real thing." The Delphic expanse spheres were destroyed, every last one of them we assume, in the season finale of ENT. As for the races, they're probably just minor members of the Federation. One theory: The Xindi don't join the Federation until after TNG/DS9/Voy. If you tried to exterminate Humanity, would Earth be over it in less than 300 years? Until then, the Xindi are busy coming to terms with the Builders being not the benevolent aliens who saved their divided world but a bunch of self-serving fuktards who would have eventually wiped them and all other native life from the galaxy.

the uss excelsior, which sulu captained and tuvok is supposed to have served on, didn't appear until st3; sulu didn't gain captinacy until st5 or 6, iirc, and that's only supposed to be about 75 years before tng.

i didn't say anything about same actors. i've never had a problem with that.
as for the first contact dates, if they've been established in an episode or a movie, it's not good if it's contradicted later. things like that bother me, which is one huge reason why i don't read most comic books anymore.
continuity/chronology errors obviously don't bother you, but don't hurl your **** at me because i take offense at them.

actually, no, i'm not. i didn't much like voyager either, didn't like the shape of the ship at all. didn't like the introduction of supershuttle delta flyer. really hated the superarmor and the supertorpedoes in the last episode.

face it, wiglaf. i don't like enterprise. i think it sucks. if you enjoy it, more power to you, but frankly, stop *****ing at me because i think it's a subpar show that doesn't do the rest of the st universe justice.

Seriously, the only good "new" Star Trek Series was DS9. By a amazing coincidence, it was also the only one where Berman and Braga did not have the the run of it.

On stardate 52827.4, a fleet of nearly 300 breen ships attacked Earth itself, the first time in humanity`s existence that any enemy did so. After using their claoking devices to assault the Third Fleet`s outer defense perimeter at Neptune before the fleet could defend itself, the Breen turned their powerful torpedoes and disruptors on the unmanned pods of Mars Defense Perimeter an the remainder of the Third Fleet. In two-hour battle, the Breen demolished Mars Defense Periemter, destroyed 139 Starfleet vessels, and killed 32,500 Starfleet personnel. Then they proceeded to Earth. Splitting their forces into four attack wings, they concentrated their assault on San Francisco, Paris, New York and Beijing. Before the First Fleet arrived from Alpha Centauri to destroy most of the Breen ships and scare the rest away, the enemy used both orbital bombardment and atmospheric craft to ravage planet`s surface.
In San Francisco, the Breen ships assaulted Starfleet and Federation facilities. Their attacks shattered and toppled the Golden Gate Bridge, reduced large parts of Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Command`s headquartes to smolding rubble, and razed Federation Hall. Breen tectonic weapons activated the region`s earthquake faults, causing devastation throughout the Pacific coast, In Paris the Breen attacked the offices of the Federation president and related Federation facilities. They compeltely destroyed Empyrean House (though President Rosarev escaped). They also obliterated otehr noted landmarks, auch as Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumphe. Their attacks on New York and Beijing were simply strikes against large population centers. Wings of fighters flew over both cities in methodical patterns, carpet-bombing them.
In all, the Breen attack killed 22 million people across the face of the Earth. The damage to Earth`s infrastructure was equally great: nearly 75 percent of planet`s population was without pwoer and other amenities.

800 million dead, two thirds of Cardassia prime destroyed. Interesting thing is that total death toll for Klingon/Federation/Romulans is about 250 million.

Well, the Founder leader ordered the Jem'hadar to level Cardassia Prime when she got word Cardassian forces had sided with the Federation and as such she knew her forces were now outnumbered and outgunned (remember: the Prophets aka the Wormhole aliens were convinced by Sisco to block passage of any Dominion ships into the Alpha Quadrant). The Dominion wanted to take planets, not obliterate them. This was a final act of spite and nothing more.
