It has not begun, it's an escalation.
Eversince van Gogh was killed, arson attempts have been made at mosques, islamic schools and other meeting places of muslims. Rascist/xenophobic texts have been sprayed on such buildings as well.
Thankfully I have heard of no reports of molestations yet.
In general I must say though things have been very calm.
There have been two small demonstrations in Amsterdam and Den Haag (seat of Parliament) by muslim organisations.
On a side note: van Gogh was sentenced by the High Court for anti-semitism in 1991.

Very little information is given. What is clear though that the police attempted to arrest somebody (or more) during the night, but failed. Several explosions were heard and automatic weapons fire. Some say the door was booby-trapped. Apparently two officers are severely wounded by a handgranade that exploded.
Police retreated and called in the help of special (militairy) units.
According to a neighbour the guy inside the house yelled 'Allahu Akhbar' and 'Ik snij je strot eraf' (I'm gonna slit yer throat).
Area is sealed off, nothing is happening.
In other related news: tonight an islamic primary school was burned down. (arson most likely, as 'white power' symbols were found on the walls, along with Theo R.I.P.)
The day before that two churches had an attempted arson.
I live in a mixed neighbourhood with plenty of Turks, Morrocans, Surinamers and the lot, and I find the atmosphere totally relaxed. (before ya'll think hell has broken loose here  )

update: police stormed the house. Eyewitnesses say two men arrested, not confirmed nor denied by the police.

How about starting with your hately of Islam. First that film maker was wrong in makleing than anti-islam film and he brought his own death on himself.

You cannot. The two dirlt secxert of Terrorism that no government want you to know.
First terrorist cannot be defeat by police or military units or by the state. Only than political solution can do that. State call people who they donot want than political solution terrorist so they can delegimate them.
Two Terrorist and terrorism win in the end.
The regurate Irish police in Ireland donot like the IRA and never help the IRA. They arrest IRA member when they can. But you cannot tell than IRA member from than regular Irishman so the police doesnot try to do so, let the dumb English deal with that problem.

First european woman arenot haveing than enought baby born to replace their population. It only muslim woman who are haveing alots of baby an european woman who convert to Islam have more babies than european who donot convert. That why the muslim donot worry about the French ban on the headscraf wait 20 years the muslim are now the majority and can vote to end the headscarf ban.
