Actually, that is not the case. 150 million are in red counties (i.e., ~ 50%). 103 million are in blue counties (~ 35%). The remainder are in gray counties (~ 15%).

Grey counties like Cook in Illinois, or Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade in Florida? Those are Democratic counties with at least another ten million people there alone.
