edit: I thought you were talking about KOTOR2. not 1. If you like star wars and role playing games such as Neverwinter Nights then you should like KOTOR1.

IMO, Kreia is one of the great characters of gaming. Maybe you have to play it all the way through, but she's utterly Shakespearian. I'm very impressed with the writing.

Well, I bought KOTOR at WalMart for $20.

I hate the game so far, movement sucks, it's non intuitive.

I move my mouse left, I want to go left.

Jamski - All those actors are credited. When you finish the game, there are full credits, and it lists the entire cast.

Tubes - You can change the movement in the options screen, AFAIK. I'm not sure why moving the mouse left doesn't turn you left...it does for me. You are holding in both buttons at the same time, yes?

I have started to use the keyboard......after mapping my own controls.

Works a lot better.

Level 3 and have beaten Marl in the Dueling Ring.

the movement takes a while to get used to it. But I think it's a better system. I can move with one hand

great for when I want to rest my other hand.

although in Morrowind I could press the Q key and move with no hands - provided I didn't have to turn.

I don't recommend using the W key to move in KOTOR. Press and hold both mouse buttons and just move the mouse in the direction you want to go. It's just that easy.

come back when You've beaten Bendak Starkiller. He requires a little more tactics and moving around.
