Another piece of info about the Porkers. Their military is average compared to ours. This means they have 4 warriors, which is expected because they built 2 cities in the second turn and started warriors.

We're still not sure where their cities are. They moved their warrior north and they surely saw our warrior, so they probably tried to block his advance towards their cities.

Hmmm...I had hoped that the alligence shown by the two warriors we picked up could give us a decided advantage, but it appears that this may not be the case. I want the Porker menace to be dealt with, but do not want to get into a protracted war while our rivals will be expanding. This bit of information makes the decision more difficult.

Perhaps we should revisit the idea of heading to mathmatics. AC would make short work of the pig people. We also have access to a coast line and could build a city there to start a pre-build.

At this point we have lots of options, but any decision we make will begin to limit them.

Correction on this. They still haven't built these two warriors because they built two cities in 3950BC and should get those two warriors in 3700BC which they haven't played still. They have likely popped two warriors in two huts which means they are going to have 6 warriors next turn.

We should test this theory of mine next turn consulting our military advisor.

And by the way, they have responded to my proposal. saying they are deliberating.

It looks to me that we must decide are we men or mice. Either we take them on now, and the luckier/more skilled civ lives, or we allow ourselves to be boxed in on two fronts.

Although I am usually more of a builder than a warrior, I suggest we beat it out with the porkers (even though we will likely only get their capital, as the others will undoubtedly be size 1 with no improvements).

They wanted to move their warrior (grog) 9666. I considered the move clear provocation and this is what I replied. I also accepted ceremonial burial for warrior code because of my discussions with snoopy which I'll post later.

I checked the save. The porkers are weak militarily compared to us. That means they didn't start those warriors but something else. And that something else might be prebuilds for granaries or barracks or even archers.

Please discuss. This is a crucial thing.

We know the Euphoricans have Ivory. It seems likely that all of the Civs will. I would say that we would need some kind of pre-build if we were to go for it. Our current research agreement with Euphorica makes it seem difficult for us to get their first.

However, given the size of our world and the proximity of the other Civs, it could be a difference maker.

At this point, we would need to appear to have a convincing reason to ask them to change course. I really don't think that will fly. Might I suggest that once Wanderers reachs the hut Euphorica has identified that we set up an ambush?

The Porkers have a strong desire to establish peaceful relations with us. They understand they were wrong and they apologise for that. Perhaps we should give them a second chance. At least we should accept the proposed trade.

I believe that they are only wanting to be friendly because they have also seen that they are weak militarily compared to us. Had the situation been reversed, I dare say that the good people of Ta-Tu would be facing Grog right now.

My thoughts are that we should continue to research a plan that will take the swine menace from this earth at the most opportune time for our great empire. Long Live the Khan!!
