Yeah, sometimes you need to use Gamespy to find a game though. Not just NWN, but certainly for something like R:TW where you just want a casual fight vs a stranger.

As well, the larger the player base, the exponentonally smaller chance there is of meeting someone without those qualities.

Damage resistance (%) stacks, damage reduction (soak) kinda stacks, and saving throw bonuses stack like hay.

Well 10/- slashing will stack with 15/+1, for example.

Hit by nonmagical longsword (slashing) for 11 points of damage. All would be resisted by the 15/+1.

Hit by +1 longsword for 11 points of damage. That bypasses the 15/+1, but the 10/- slashing absorbs all but 1 point of damage.

Most mages end up with some kinda loopy onionskin approach when fully buffed.

Folderol is offline this week as its getting a NEW HOME Work continues apace on the 4th page of the Codex.

As for official Bioware mods, I dunno, I've mostly been working on my BG conversion. Beregost has taken ages, there are so many people to talk to, spread over so many maps... I'm plodding along steadily though. Should have Chapters 1-4 (i.e. up to when you finally get to enter the city) done sometime in June.

I need a clever solution to Firewine bridge. Its not possible to make anything like it in the toolset without using custom tiles, and I don't want NWN-BG to need a hakpak. Ideas?

What is the problem exactly? Can you use some city tiles, and effectively make the bridge a long chain of gateways that you can walk across?
Otherwise, I'm still not too sure what your problem is, but would like to say that a hak isn't the end of the world. Just don't make it too big!
