That one sounds good. A bit tongue breaker, but it trains the muscle...

if there are crawlers and EC's enough to spare....someone break out the calculator..
quote: However with us changing to build the Neural Amp SP, Spartans are going to be alerted that something is up.
and it won't take them long to guess.
|
good point. at this point in my games,i often start a new SP with a bio-building base.if thats yours(and theirs) experiance, they would know...but can they get it in one turn?
edit;in reference to your email,id like to see what others have to say,if anyone else is on atm
might not want to risk losing CF at any cost....

I think we might make more librarians elsewhere too, plus move one more crawler towards EM. It would spare us hunger.
---
Ok, what I got is hunger -2 in KP and -1 in KC. All ok in EM.
We get 196 labs/turn (needed 194) Less pollution and less chance for fungus growth.
SH switched to crawler. Sorry, but LIT will not be able to help anything now - I did not know we would hurry CF a turn earlier, so it is too late now, but it gives us 10 crawlers in the vicinity of EM. The rest minerals will have to be bought.
Let me see final things...

Well, we better switch Kahlua Probing to crawler too. 9 minerals lost. Not that much...
Where to move the probe foil?

i thought hercule was playing the turn?did you take it from midsave mart?

i thoughtwe just had a consensus NOT to get CF asap

Well, we lost Planetary Energy Grid just by one turn during this game. If we might loose CF too, that would be really bad thing. Hercules gave a good point, that Neural Amplifier may alarm Spartans.
I did this analysis with last mid save. We can succeed with CF in 2175
----
And even if not alarmed, what if they really can get MMI that fast?

Just another thought, as Cataphract says, we might continue building Bioenhancement in EM. We would loose only 5 or 6 minerals more, but with 11 crawlers, that should be enough still. And additionally, we do not alarm anybody with this, but we still instabuild it in 2175!
What do you think about it?

end turn.
if luck helps we get CF in 2176.
This whole stuff with not alarming is if Spartans do not have infiltration on us, what is quite possible.

We will know next turn. If we get MMI and no CF is in the F5 screen, then we are in business.
And time to switch a bit our aims. With CF we may infuriate Spartans. They might even consider hitting us and not Yang. They could think that the sooner they strike the better for them since we will have less time for building that enhanced units. I believe, that after we get CF we should start serious military build up. According to defensive-offensive scheme. We can discuss it in Security Nexus with more details. Otherwise what happend to Morganities with their headquarter base might happen to us too.

I talked with Gaian BinTravkin about attacking Hive before Spartans do it. Hive territory is very tempting - jungles. Lal would be though easier to defeat at the moment. However we have pact with Lal, and Yang may attack us any turn now.
It may be difficult to get into conflict with Hive, and we would drain our resources, however, I think in the long run, the faction that takes hive territory will have very big adavantage. We should not let Spartans to take all Yangs faction.
Any thoughts?

Here is some strength comparison, which I should also present to BinTravkin:
code:
Hive Gaian Angels
---------------------------------------
Scout 1-1-1 - 11 12
Rover 1-1-2 - - 2
Synth 1-2-1 34 1 -
Plasma 1-3-1 10 - 1
pl.def x-3-2 - 3 1
Laser 2-2-1 1 - -
L.spe. 2-1-2 - 7 -
Impact 4-2-1 3 - -
Imp.sp. 4-1-2 1 - -
G.inf. 5-2-1 2 - -
M.sp. 6-1-2 5 4 -
M.sqd. 6-3r-1 6 - -
M.inf. 6-1-1 - - 1
Imp.ar. (4)-1-2 2 - -
G.ar. (5)-1-2 1 - -
M.ar. (6)-1-2 2 - -
spor.L p-p-1 - 1 -
M.Nee. 6-1-10 8 3 -
chopp. 1-1-8 - - 1
Foil tr 0-x-4 3 - 1
L.foil 2-2-4 1 - -
M.foil 6-3-4 1 - -
IoD p-p-4 - 1 -
Probe 0-1-2 2 2 3
f.pr. 0-1-1 - 7 11
Foil pr 0-1-4 - - 2
Total----------------------------------
Land 62 26 17
Artillery 5 1 -
Air 8 3 1
Sea 5 1 1
Probe 2 9 16
So in land we are 18:62 (no scouts)
Air 4:8 only (bombers and scouts)
sea - we have only transports
probes(regular) 7:2 (COPs not included)
