I was fingerprinted as part of the process of becoming a permanent US resident, and I dont have a problem with it. What they need to do now is take fingerprints of all foreigners coming into the US whether they are here on a student visa, tourist visa or whatever!

Congrats. You've just crashed the economies of Detroit, Buffalo, and every other border city and surrounding area.
What exactly is fingerprinting foreigners as they come into the US supposed to accomplish, anyway?
