That's what I think, and I'm not afraid to say it.

OK, let me address your concerns openly and honestly for the first time. I am a strong willed person, and always have been, causing my mother to say that I thought I was the mother when I was a kid. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. It has brought a lot of good things to my life. My husband knows this, and I think this is one of the reason he loves me. And I love him and have lots of respect for him. He is always growing. He thirsts after knowledge. He can't wait to get back to school, just so he can grow more rapidly. I love this about him. That doesn't mean that I am blind to his irrational side. He has it. His irrationality comes a lot from his upbringing, and the fact that he has never really looked at his world views with a critical eye. My irrationality usually comes from emotion. We know these things about each other and that is why we help each other to grow.

My husband and I had a long talk about circumcision, and he went from saying he wouldn't be able to play and hold his unclean son to asking me to tell him all the bad and good things on both sides. I have decided that I don't want to circumcize my son. But our discussion together is still open, and we still have a lot of time to work through it.

Yes, where it comes to his irrational traditions, I want him to start using his brains. What's wrong with that? I never said he didn't use his brain in other circumstances.

But there is something and twisted about this whole thread which is hard to ignore and more the author explains her motivations the worse it seems to get.

I find it a particular testament to Apolyton Off Topic that a subject of absolutely no consequence (possibly even less than Suomithreadi) will be locked because of too many posts.

I will never ever reply to a post made by you again, but I want to say how shocked and disgusted I am of you. It's one thing to start making snide comments about other peoples' personal lives, but you have crossed into another realm entirely. You are vile.

tandeetaylor, maybe you are not familiar with the concept of "trolling".

Its main purpose is to make you mad.

Alexander's Horse is a master and venerable teacher to all us trolls.

As for Imran, he usually is more mature

Point is you have absolutely nothing to prove here

Do what you want to do. It is amazing how much controversy this issue is bringing in America.

By the way and for your information In Europe you simply don't do it. You don't circumsise.

There was a theory that it would reduce the risk of a potential cancer in that area but that was a loooong time ago.

Now personal hygiene ensures as studies have shown that it is the same. So we don't circumsise and leave nature as it is. No need to mutilate.

Well that's all. Take care

I knew what a troll was, but I guess I just always assumed that it was an anonymous person who would come for awhile and then leave again without ever coming back. I didn't know that someone who you can imagine as a real person could be a troll, and I seem to remember having respect for AH in the past. I guess I was just ignorant about who he is (obviously).

Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

I spend 3 hours taking a train down to Maryland, and I come online to see this thread erupt into our own Great War.

I'm dismayed at this thread, though the last few postings have made it a little better. Such bile...

Since most seem to be kissing and making up, I'm not going to dredge up Sneak's sludge to root through it again. I will just say that it is obvious he's no longer as comfortable with his decision as he claims to be. Too bad he had to lash out with such baseless tripe. This marks the first time my opinion of an Apolytoner has really sunk like a rock in just one thread.

F**k, I never knew there was so much to be said about this subject.

I remember AH's trolls from when I last visited Apolyton, but have never seen him take it this far before. What's up, man? You've been funny before, but what you posted in here ain't funny, dude.

Just my $0.02. Y'all take care, whether you're circumsized or not
