The point of this is not to have success or cause others to have failure, the point is to create an entertaining and possibly even infomative situation that can be enjoyed by all involved. Perhaps you think otherwise, but most people consider entertainment to necessarily include some challenges. That means both successes and defeats. Despite the fact that I consider what happened was totally realistic, possibly even a little generous in what how we allowed both you and your country to respond, it hardly matters now. Sure, your country might be doing better now, but no matter how 'unfair' you think people have been, nothing is solved by you perpetrating such excesses as you have recently demonstrated. We all very much want as many people to continue with this and everyone to enjoy it as much as possible, but if necessary, we can just ignore your unreasonable posts. Try to work this out, possibly even compromise, and everyone will end up better off.

Ok... the current situation in the Americas is the one I already posted above:

Argentina have still control of Western California, while American troops made several advancement in Louisiana thanks to the leadership of the great general (pick a name), although the Argentinian troops have fortified in New Orleans, and it will be hard to get them out of there.
The American fleet suffered many losses off the carrabean to Argentinian and Brazilian navies, and is forced to retreat, therefore the situation in Central America did not changed, and no blockade was ever started.

I'm going to be in charged of the reality police of all nations, and if, for whatever reason, you think there is something in the NES that is too unrealistic, you should let me know by PM, so to not invade this NES with OOC messages, after that I will check what you feel is unrealistic and decide if I should intervene and hot to intervene.
Everybody that needs to post long OOC discussion, is not welcomed in this thread anynore, and should discuss it via PM or e-mail (this doesn't include if you just write a few OOC lines, or if you post one or two OOC messages, but it means that when you see that a long discussion seems to be on its way, you should invite the other player to answer you by other means).
On a last note: If I see anybody else flaming this NES, I'm going to ban him from this NES, and any other GDNES I would start in the future, so please don't make me do such a thing.
And now let's keep on playing, everyone is welcome to continue and let's just ignore what happened today.

Brazillian forces in FLorida still hold strong in the south. The American Alliance has naval supremacy in the Carribean.
Since American forces rejected any sort of cease fire for our troops in Florida to begin withdrawing they have been reinforced immensely. From Fort Myers to Palm Beach and down, the Brazillian forces are in complete control.
To world: we're trying to get peace, but America seems to want all the benefits out of an agreement for ending a war they are losing. And they also want to begin imposing harsh terms on South Americans, and we're the ones winning!
The Brazillian people are in full support of its government, especially at recent actions and statements of the U.S. and rumors of their harsh treatments to POW's.
To Cuba:
We thank you for your kind words. And we too hope this war with the imperialist can end. Your island will not fall in the northerner's hands.
OOC: so what's the verdict? I restrained myself in making any major moves until a verdict is out, and clear.

Cuban forces occupy the Carribean islands of Aruba and Jamaica. This will drop Cuba's economy to stable.
Additionally, Cuban forces liberate the rest of Dominica. Cuban war hawks in congress have had their appetites appeased for the time being.
Cuba immediately sets up more freedoms in the captured islands, and, like the invasion of Haiti, there has been little resistance to the Cuban forces.
Cuba establishes the Department of luxury agriculture in Jamaica, a department devoted solely to the growth and manufacture of marijuana. For some strange reason, massive shipments are being sent to Europe, at this time marijuana is known only to provide feelings of giddiness and Euphoria.
Cuban forces have lifted their war status with the United States, Cuban military leaders cannot help but wonder then, why the United States wishes Cuba harm. Especially because Cuba never fired a shot at the United States in Anger.
Cuban aid is being supplied in large, visible amounts to the nations of Mexico and Central America, in the hopes that they will develop an anti-imperialistic position on world issues; and more importantly, in the hopes that they will not allow the gringo nations to spread their filthy seed amongst beautiful Latin women.
To Brazil: We are glad someone in this hemisphere has a desire for peace!
To the United States: It has been a year now where you've been unilaterally at war with Cuba, what is your intent?
To Argentina (secret): Cuba would appreciate support in Carribean conquests, we will condone actions against the U.S. if we have Argentinian support.
To France and Britain: You are the fair weather fans of the world, please declare neutrality and work to an end in the conflict, instead of switching sides and encouraging aggression on the part of the United States.

Events: July 1911
- Revolution in China:
Following a mutiny by the garrison at Hankow, a widespread army revolt breaks out. Chaos prevails as provincial governors declare independence. An indecisive war between loyalists and rebels leads to an armistice, and the republic of the United States of China is proclaimed, under the leadership of Sun Yat-Sen.
- Roald Amundsen, DANISH explorer, reaches the South Pole
- Elections in France
After the recent development of the situation in the Americas, the French pubblic opinion turned once againto the Hawks party, asking for French support to the American Alliance and force the US to sign peace.
Although the Hawks victory was got only by a small margin of 6%, showing French support for a peace resolution to be find.
Hawks: 53%
Doves: 47%
- Elections in Argentina
After the attack in the Parliament of Buenos Aires, the coalition lead by the Reformist and the Conservativs won by a land slide with well over 60% of the votes, the people of Argentina are asking for law and order to be reinstaured in the country, although the Reformist took the advantage over the Conservatives
The Socialist lost a few votes, due to their friendship with the Marxist.
The current composition of the Congress is:
Reformist: 38%
Conservatives: 30%
Socialist: 16%
Unionist: 10%
Marxist: 6%
- Paesants revolts in Nicaragua
The Paesants in Nicaragua revolted today against the government because of their lack of agrarian reforms.
People are asking for some kind of reforms similar to the ones who took place in Cuba. The Nicaraguan Army could not quells the rebels, and the government is aking for help from the AA (ooc: this was caused by gooberboob's sending of people to spark rebellions in Central America)
- Mexican Revolt
Villa and Zapata's armies did a new attack against the Mexican armies, and managed thanks to the support of the population to defeat the Mexican Army in the battle of Monterrey.
Despite the help from the Ottoman Empire and Italy, it appears that it is too hard to keep the rebels under control.

To: Ottoman
From: Italy
(secret)
It looks like the Mexican rebels have support from all the population, and it seems like our armies are not enough to keep them under control.
I think it could be a good idea to withdraw our support for the current Mexican government and take friendly stances towards the rebels, and maybe help them, that way if the rebels win, they will be friendly toward us.
What do you think?(/secret)

I'm sorry, but it looks now to us that it is you that is pushing this war, sign cease fire with the AA now.

The now-ruling Hawk party has elected a Prime Minister. An relative unknown in the political arena, Crian Vayer, has been elected. The Dove part of Congress expressed reservations about the nomination, and will apparantly have a hard time coorperating with the new leader. In his Inuageral address, the Prime Minister adopted an aggressive stance against America. In his first Executive Order, troops are to be dispatched to the region, obtensibly to pressure America in capitulation. Some of the more radical members of Congress are suggesting that the treaty the American government negotiated with Napoleon for the purchase of the Lousiana territory is illegal, and that France has a right to occupy it. Ominously, the first troops dispatced are those to Florida and New Orleans, to assist the AA in their efforts.
To AA-

To all American States (secret): We must take a non-imperialist stance if our nations are to stand!! I am making a stand against the Dutch occupation of Latin American territory. Cuban Democracy is Latin Democracy, a Democracy which is strong and powerful, a democracy which doesn't need major revolutions three times a century to establish, it is a Democracy dedicated to the will of the people, and the people of Aruba wish to share in this power.
To France: Cuban Democracy is Latin Democracy, a Democracy which is strong and powerful, a democracy which doesn't need major revolutions three times a century to establish, it is a Democracy dedicated to the will of the people, and the people of Aruba wish to share in this power.
To Nicaragua: Pledge a MPP with Cuba, and Cuba will aid in the construction of a democratic government in Nicaragua. ((ooc: Cuban propagandaists are still in the area))
To Pancho and the Rebels in Mexico: Don't allow yourself to become a slave to the European powers, American states must band together if we are to achieve global respect. Cuba offers more aid to your forces for a pledge of America first allegiance
