We have nothing to trade them. I moved the warrior one tile sw (keypad 1). That way, if we want to, we can take out their scout if he tries to move by us. We will need to discuss this.

And - I made an executive decision - Macaque is now building a barracks. We were going to waste two shield on a warrior build. The screen shows 11 turns, but with the city growing in 3 I figure it will be done in about 8.

Then we can use it to pump out vets. I trust this OK with folks.

As to PC, it needs 18 shileds to finish the settler. 4 this turn and next, and then a shift of a citizen to the elephant/woods tile for two turns will have him out in four.

IW still in 16 turns.

All is well in Monkeyland.

Now - what do we do about C or D? To start with - we need an ambassador.

Thats Alphabet & Pottery at least.

We would like pottery, but lets not get screwed.
They would of traded it around a bit already.

So we can wait and buy it from someone else.

As to stopping their scout ....
Unless they are our nearest neighbour, they probably wont want to discuss borders. I doubt we could stop them unless we want to leave our warrior there as our defensive border guard. And this will stop us from exploring as well.

Plus..remember what happened to RP when they tried the "Dear GoW, We claim this land, remove your warrior explorers"

1. What do you have for trade.
2. All goodie huts to your east have been popped. And we have found nothing but barbarians so be wary that your scout might get killed.

Middle Northern Warrior heads north .. cant see the COD scout
Northern Warrior Moves East.

PC builds a settler.
Decided to move him to the site marked with a blue X.
Konquest suggested 8,8,8 but he can get to X 1 turn earlier, and can share tile improvements.

And the site fits in with my plan here.

Settler moved to blue X spot. Can build next turn.

Warrior in far north moved one tile NW. Nothing much.

Warrior in the south moved NE. Nothing much.

I fortified the warrior on the hills to the mid north. He can take out the scout if need be.

Have we enegaged them in trade or border talks yet.

I sent a PM to COD about these issues a few days ago.

Basically saying no exploration.
I dont think it wise to set up borders until we know where everyones capital is.

I also asked for a tech deal where we get Writing & Pottery for Iron Working & ????
I doubt they will do it.

Any suggestions on what else we can offer ?

Do we need Writing now ? I would like Pottery.
Perhaps we can do IW for Pottery & Ceremonial Burial and they can owe us the beaker difference or pay us gold.

Basically we are waiting for them to give an offer. but it may help if we suggest it....given the low participation, we might be able to screw a few decent deals, because they dont care.

I like that deal, but I don't think they would pay us for the beaker difference. I think the will go for the later repayment instead... Time will tell!

If we decide to pop the hut, I have changed our build queues so that we are not building a settler....we may get a freebie.

Northern Warrior : To the mountain
Border Warrior: If CoD scout moves south, he will have to move by our warrior... It could be a potential threat for it's life. So I think they will keep it north...
Southern Warrior: Pop the hut is a good idea, we might get Pottery...

Gorilla: worker?
PC: if we get pottery, then build a granary. If not, we might build a last warrior, as the barbs will soon come.

Southern warrior moved SE and is still adjacent to the hut.

Worker moved to tile SE of new city to begin mining next turn.

No sign of scout. I move our warrior one tile NE and still no sign of him.

Warrior in the far north moved west to mountain - nice view of the ocean.

Given the geography we can see so far - it would seem to me that we may want to try and lay claim to all land south of the jungle, including the peninsula to the north and east - (now south of our warrior).

Depending on what kind of tiles are over there, it may be a good location for the FP.
